Do you think there will be a time when the average woman and society in general will be more upfront and honest about the fact that that theres still an expectation on men to conform to their gender roles and expectations, whilst women are allowed to take advantage of their own genders roles being expanded and be made to be far more flexible?

Right now, it seems like men are getting a lot of mix messages from mainstream society and women when it comes to how they behave and what must they do to appeal to women.. Yet it’s clear that both society and a lot of women still require the average man to behave a certain strict way for attraction to happen and for men to be valued. And they incentivise a certain model of masculinity which could be considered incredibly problematic in our egalitarian dominated social narratives about gender roles , whilst claiming otherwise. Liberal feminism seems to enable this cognitive dissonance, as despite radical feminists railing against gender roles, liberal feminists who dominate the gender narrative are for women imposing gender roles on men , just not the reverse.

It’s seems like a lot of problems men face in the dating world and in relationships is due to this mismatch between unspoken expectations and the dominant narratives that a lot of women and society seem to cling onto, and which for the average man seems like gaslighting at a social wide level. Men are just expected to see through all the bullshit without getting a little bit bitter or confused, which is where toxic manosphere communities like the RP have made their living.

Most traditional cultures seem to be far more honest about the nature of their gender contracts and the expectations they place on both men and women. Yet western society seem so far more hesitant to be honest about the true nature of the current gender contract for the avg man , which is causing a lot of problems for men when it comes to meeting those expectations
