You're missing the point; women arent going to tell men anything that make them look bad, so men have to check each other.

'You're not being manly'? Yeah, women dont like feminine men.

'Dont show you're depressed'? Yeah, women dont like emotional luggage.

As for your last one, nobody has to tell other men to pursue sex; they naturally want it.

Women are deafeningly silent IRL when it comes to helping struggling men with women problems. Im not saying that its your obligation by any means, but somebody has to guide them.

It'll naturally work in more complex ways.

For example, women can pity or patronize weak men they see as inferior, developing in cliches like "I can only see you as a friend", "you're like my lil brother" or alike; they won't use charged terms they abhor, nor they'll justify mocking, bullying behavior as some kind of tough love usually ingrained between male counterparts, yet they still don't see the weak male as an equal, but as someone inadequate and behind in a standard they see themselves far ahead to feel sorry for at the best, if not covert disdain or disappointment for not finding elements like a sense of protection.

Said that, I don't think that's exclusive to women - people generally dislike the weak in some or other way specially when they fear weakness on themselves, as something they want to take distance from and assume they overcame.

Men are more likely to be direct when stating something like that, while women are more likely to be indirect/subtle. This is why men can't point to a lot of examples because the examples come from life experience.

Women are also way more likely to make fun of a man's physical masculinity (muscle mass, height, dick size) then emotional masculinity.

Women don't need to outright tell men any of this, their actions are enough. Women don't find men with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues etc sexually attractive.

The biggest problem I see with (some) men here:

attempting to deflect direct criticism, whether warranted or not, as criticism of “men.” I may hate you and you have a penis, that doesn’t mean I “hate men.”
confusing annoying and childish traits with being non masculine or “feminine” behavior. They convey that they’re whiny, jaded, immature, fearful, can’t take care of themselves, are avoidant, and claim women don’t like them because they aren’t masculine or good looking enough rather than owning up to the fact that their behavior is annoying.
this weird idea that women are some deity who’s sole purpose is to validate men as worthy or not with our vaginas. I know that comes from a combination of lack of experience and FOMO, but it’s fucking weird.

That said I don’t think anyone disagrees that women (in the aggregate) enforce stereotypes and cultural norms too. Either consciously or unconsciously. Men also need to own their role, but I don’t think it’s as easy as saying one group is guilty and the other is innocent.

Women definitely do, do this. I have seen women use homophobic language, phrases like soy-boy etc. But overwhelmingly men engage in this a lot more.

Women mock and deride men with actions, eye rolls, facial expressions, stares, cringes, grimaces, bodily shrinking back, and gossip. Women mock and deride men through denying and refusing sex, controlling access to sex, withholding sex acts , refusing to perform sex acts on you that she hungrily performed on prior men.

I have to be real here, there are certain men who are so cowering and unmasculine that it makes you want to shake some sense into them. But the only time their kow-towing ever bothered me was when they were attempting to get with me and would not stop. This one guy kept mailing packages to my home address and commenting on my facebook and just being way too presumptive, and his lack of masculinity overall was drawn into sharp focus because he was a problem in my life. If he had left me alone I would never have noticed or cared.

I think some men on herea enable to strike a balance. Maybe once they constantly unloaded all their emotional shit onto their GF's (because they can't share the burden with their male friends for some reason) and it got too much for her. This doesn't mean she went 'eww, male emotions!' rather 'being the ONLY outlet for ALL his emotions is too much for me.

My partner unloads on me and I'm happy to have him cry on my shoulder, but he also talks to his family and friends so I never have to play he 'full time therapist' role.

First, "mocking masculinity" is a vague qualifier. You seem to be asking about several different specific things that I can provide references to.

In terms of outright lampooning and ridicule of men and stereotypical male habits, women absolutely do this. Probably the most straightforward mockery of men is the feminist trend of "ironic misandry."

You more precisely seem to be talking about policing male behavior and gender roles though (i.e. "shaming") which is something women (and men) definitely do, always have done, and will probably continue to do.

The real issue isn't what women are saying about masculinity though, it's how they behave and respond to masculinity. In fact, the most impactful messages men receive about this are when women don't even bother to comment on masculinity or a lack thereof. It's not really that manospherians are upset about women bullying them, or saying mean things. It's that women generally seem to lose all sexual interest in men that appear weak, emotional, incapable etc. even though women often criticize toxic and fragile masculinity upfront and claim that male vulnerability is a good thing.

This is another example of what I mentioned above. Women are not necessarily saying this, and I don't think anyone is claiming that they are. It's in the way that women treat men that fail sexually.

Women often communicate via subtext and non-literals. These are all examples where that is prominent.
