I struggle to understand how people who think in terms of simple overgeneralizations really believe it's logical. The world is complex. There are so many people from so many places, with so many different types of upbringings and life experiences and yet somehow, when a person generalizes an entire group of people as stupid, vain, shortsighted, or some other trait, they still feel intellectually superior. It simultaneously shows a lack of critical thinking skills and a desperate need to prop up ones own ego.

My best friend actually is diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and she's nothing like this. She does her damn best to keep her mood swings in check and under control because she hates being a burden on people. You don't hate women, you undermine legitimate mental illness. It's a crushing weight that makes you feel less than others. Not normal. And that's a terrible way to feel, male or female.

Why are men so critical of women? Is it because men are afraid to express themselves in a uniquely sexual way? Like, men literally avoid doing anything that would warrant the kind of criticism that they express towards women every single day on the internet. Lol I'm friends with a woman like this. I think I proved my point by having her drunkenly slapping the shit out of me and one chest punch last night and the end result was her hand hurting more than my face or chest. I told her I respect her as a person but am in no way physically intimidated by her.
