Everytime I see one of these long anti-TRP rants, I always try to read it with an open mind to see if any criticisms actually hold any merit (I think it's important to do so), and every single time without fail I always see straw-men argument's from someone who has a fundamental misunderstanding of what TRP actually is. Time and time again it's just a long rant from someone who has a very surface understanding of what TRP preaches, think they've 'seen enough' and then proceed to paint a distorted (misunderstood) picture of what they think TRP actually is (along with the commenters who usually know even less and spread even more misinformation)

I think the reason we never see much criticism from people who actually get to the point of properly and fully understanding core TRP concepts is because people who get to that point of understanding TRP don't leave. We see that it is the truth, and we see it all around us. I don't think any of us actually wish TRP were true, and I think this is an important point that is often overlooked. This is a symptom of an ideology based in reality rather than fantasy.

I do honestly await the day when someone makes some valid criticisms, but time and time again I am disappointed(?) by the same old shit. The Red Pill is real folks, whether we (or our doubters) like it or not.

How is TRP like a cult if we don't get anything from each other? I haven't met any eccentric RP recruiters ready to impose upon me and take my money and my commitment. In fact, most of you people could give a rat's ass about me and what I choose to believe. Hypothetically, if I wanted to leave then 99% of you would be happy to show me out the door because most don't have time to babysit people who are struggling with a decision to swallow the pill. Most of us have little to no patience for indecision. All of the RP information is on the sidebar, its take it or leave it. IDGAF if you do or not, it's not my problem. However, if you want help swallowing the pill and need support becoming a better man then I'm more than happy to help. Otherwise, I don't care about you and your beliefs.

The only thing all of us share is our decision to swallow the pill; otherwise, we're all just random internet names. There is no monetary or personal incentive to 'indoctrinate' other 'impressionable' young men into our 'cult' of 'jaded' men. No man on this sub benefits from another man being here. There are no expensive e-meters to determine our alpha-status, no magazine subscriptions to buy, no fees to pay, no oaths to take, no donations, no bullshit like that. So the comparison of TRP to a cult is, once again, completely retarded.

This sub is simply a collection of men who came together with the goals of self-realization and sharing the objective truths of the world. There's no denying than men's general masculinity has slowly deteriorated in correlation with feminist activism and we're here to reconnect with our inner man and expose the bullshit. Any other claims as to why were here are negligible because no one invited me here. No one forced me to be here, I chose to be here and in fact, none of you give a fuck what I choose to believe.

Honestly, I thought it was baffling how the writer of that post made it an effort to compare TRP to Scientology because they aren't related in any way whatsoever. He tried to create this false image of TRP as a malicious group of jaded men scheming to brainwash the youth and impose their flawed world views on them, when in reality, thats the farthest thing from the truth. The OP's girl must have been fucked by a RP chad or something because he seems to have some serious disdain for TRP.

This dudes whole argument is basically the same stuff that is always said to "counter" TRP. And almost always hits the first page lol.

The problem with these arguments are simple, but it baffles me how people don't call them out. This problem is: Men and Women are different.

They go through different stages of life at different times.

A 16~23 yo girl has is generally A LOT more attractive than a 16~23 yo guy.

The average girl is reaching a peak, while the average guy is still finding and bulding himself.

If a girl/woman wants to have sex, shi WILL have sex. There is no strategy, there is no theory, she doesn't have to read, workout, she doesn't have to be smart, she doesn't have to do shit. She can put a clevage pic on social media and have a high quality guy knock on her front door.

But if a guy wants to have sex... He will generally have to take some effort. He will have to be a stud or w/e.

These people are delusional in the idea that men and women play the same game. THEY DON'T. Thats why there are so many reading material dedicated to MEN to learn how to go through the sexual market.

WE MAKE THE EFFORT IF WE WANT TO THRIVE. Women generally don't need to make that effort.

TRP is not "all or nothing". Take what you want, take what you think works for you, you can change your mind and we won't mind/care at all.

Whether I choose to follow ALL TRP ideas or just SOME TRP ideas is my personal choice, based on what I agree with and what works for me. B/c is something doesn't work for me why use it? And that's TRP in essence.

People forget we are animals. Despite our intelligence and complex social systems at the core we still have primal sexual strategies.

Those strategies differ greatly between the sexes. It's very interesting to see we are capable of watching a documentary and objectively discuss the sexual strategy of other animals. But when applied to ourselves we hit a moral brick wall because the truth is offensive and uncomfortable.

One tactic I always notice in these posts: Any TRP idea that is too reasonable to ignore becomes common sense.

Of course, not much here is common sense, at least in the sense that it's A) common and B) commonly practiced. People will call TRP's emphasis on physical fitness common sense, and it should be, but for some reason 70% of the population chooses to be overweight or obese and an additional significant percentage is skinny but not fit. It's straining the definition of "common sense" if a strong majority of people don't take it seriously.

Any ideology that says you have to take it wholesale, that you can't pick and choose, that you're wrong for accepting one tenet and rejecting another, is bullshit. You should be able to pull whatever healing elements you find from any philosophy or ideology without needing to take it wholesale. The only people who insist you do, reject you if you don't, are cults.

This is a tactic used often that gets trp vilified. A huge aspect of trp is that it's a pick-and-choose toolbox, you use what you want and what works with you, besides concrete ideas like AWALT or the value of lifting.

This is basically like when people cite a single trp comment saying "All women are cocksluts that deserve to be raped" with 2 downvotes and say that all trpers think that way.

This is funny because I tell my buddies all the time that women need to 'protect us from ourselves'. What I mean by that is that girls need to understand that I'm going to try to fuck them ASAP. There were a few comments that disagreed with OP but as usual anything that challenges the BP paradigm has to be "literally Hitler" or "Scientology" in the minds of those plugged in. Who is benefiting from this? Where is the pay off? What money is there to follow? We are all individual men just comparing notes on life. Take what you like from it.

I try to keep that in mind whenever I see conspiracy theories or racism or pro-Trump-ism. I read it critically, keep it in the back of my mind, and then dismiss it if it has low predictive power as a theory. I'll admit I'm a little more racist now than before TRP.

Meanwhile, the core tenets of sexual dynamics keep proving effective at predicting outcomes in my daily life.

I get where they're coming from I scoffed and looked down on alphas and redpill ideals long before i came here and felt that "being in touch with my feminine side" was a rarity when in reality we live in a feminized society and the men women really crave are the masculine alphas i so despised.

If simple statements like lift, don't put a woman on a pedestal, and have a perspective of abundance backed by statistical data that demonstrates female species pursue male species (human and non human) then the definition of a cult sure has changed.

What i enjoy most of this sub was my decision to try and essentially experiment with my life and how i socialize with people. I have seen how receptive women and men are too my recent (growth to me perhaps indoctrination to others) and I find it spectacular. How anyone can loathe a group focused on making better men (on a personal level i mean, i get that society needs the status quo) is beyond me.
