It’s one of those things that seems to have become so expected and commonplace. I hate it, and even asking for it is a dealbreaker for me. I can’t be attracted to guys who would even want sex that’s painful, dangerous and potentially injurious (especially long term), requiring EVEN MORE labour from me than sex already requires via prep, and is still potentially a very dirty event even with all the prep.

Sure, the guy might respect my boundary/hard “no” and never ask for it again, might not ever think about it again, and might not try to slip a finger or worse in. But so many men do, and I’m not running that risk. Too many men are out there assaulting and raping their partners this way because of porn. Thinking anal sex is acceptable and normal in sex is, for me, LVM behaviour and this is probably the only place I can say that without getting shamed for this standard. Anywhere else and you get a chorus of pickmes and men crying “you’ll enjoy it if you just keep trying! Find the right guy! Go slow! Lube!” no matter how clear you make it that you don’t want to do anal. I’ve seen enough vulnerable young women lectured about how they just need to keep trying when they go to advice subs.

Even if you do it right it can cause potential harm in the long run. Hemmeroids ect. It's the strain on it in ways its not "built for". No pleasure center up there anyways.

I've heard stories about people who had lots of anal sex and it destroyed their muscles. This resulted in them shitting themselves occasionally.

Also, sperm is bad for the immune system if it gets into the blood. So bad that many high profile doctors believed that AIDS wasn't caused by a virus but from having repeated anal sex and sperm getting into the bloodstream.

I really liked it with my current partner, but now after having a UTI for the first time in 10 years, I've become really "anal" about hygiene and make sure he doesn't even accidentally poke my perineum when he's going in my vagina. Just too afraid of e coli now. But some women genuinely actually enjoy anal and aren't coerced into it or anything like that. my current FWB is very into it and I told him at the start, "only if you know what you're doing." Proper anal has lots of buildup and progresses very slowly. And a HVM will understand that even with all that, you might still not like it and that needs to be okay. You also might have off days where you don't want it or haven't had the chance to, uh, prep. And that also needs to be okay.

It's just that most men have never even considered that there's a wya to "do it wrong." All of the build up in the porn they watch happens off camera so they have no idea how to do it properly.
