Whenever someone asserts the fact that HVM propose by around the 1 year-1.5 year mark maximum, there is always a bunch of drama started in the comments from people who claim it’s too soon and that you should be dating for multiple years before engagement.

Why? What kind of argument are y’all forever-gf apologists using? Help me understand.

If a woman knows she wants marriage, and probably kids in the near future, and she’s actively dating marriage-minded and family-oriented HVM, is great at vetting, and has finally met someone a compatible, generous, lovey HVM and she deems fit to be a father, what’s the problem? Why should she be dating this man for five years and letting him get complacent and take her for granted while she retains a gf title?

Let’s say the marriage doesn’t work out, before they have kids, she found out they’re actually incompatible and they divorce before the 2-3 year mark. She had a prenup to protect her assets and vetted him well, so the divorce is not too messy, but amicable. What’s the harm done in that? That’s actually a preferable situation to be in IMO than being a forever gf clown pickmeisha gf who gives away 5-10 years of her life to a man who won’t commit to her and doesn’t value her.

Someone explain to me why anyone would justify being a forever-gf or claim one year is too soon for engagement. Research has proven the happiest marriages are those that married after 1 yr or 2. Sorry, forever-gfs.
