I have seen quite a lot of posts such as "avoid philosophy majors" or "swipe left on musicians" on here. Let's group them all in this thread!

The goal is not to generalise or say that ALL males in these categories should be avoided. These things are not red flags per se, but since they contain a high ratio of LVM, you should at least be prepared to have your time wasted when swiping on them.

I'll start with students. What value can students add to your life? They are typically broke, young, and into hookup culture. Broke and hookup culture speak for itself; young means they are less mature than we are/were in their age and they are too caught up in their own feelings to take responsibility for someone else's. They are great as friends, especially if they're smart and passionate about their major.

The second category is musicians. Tend to be self-absorbed, having giant egos along with mental issues and treating you as a free therapist. And broke.
