After I asked for a divorce, I stopped taking care and doing wifey shit. I made him buy me a small bed for the spare room and I slept there. Our old room had his dirty clothes scattered all over the bedroom floor and literally HALF of the king bed was clean clothes he hadn't bothered to fold. Only a little space was available for him to sleep on. It was beyond pathetic, but I refused to clean after him anymore. He had his own bathroom and he started using mine. I asked why and he said the sink leaked. About a week went by and I went to home depot and fixed his fucking sink and told him to stay out of mine.

Another guy I lived with had his own bathroom. When we moved out I did all the cleaning and literally sat there and cried as I cleaned copious amounts of piss off the front and sides of the toilet. This man kept the house and kitchen clean, so I didn't expect this at all. I guess his lazy, low value came out when he thought I couldn't see it. Same guy broke the shower head (because he was ALWAYS fucking moving it) and texted me he would replace it when he got paid. THE FUCK? I went to the store that night and bought a $10 shower head and then also found a wrench to get the old shower head off. He was home so I very loudly called myself THE MAN OF THE HOUSE. I can never live with a man again ever. I have had nothing but bad experiences from so called "nice guys".

I have done similar things before (but smaller scale since nobody was gross enough to expect me to clean up their piss—other than my babies of course 😆)Being the stay at home mom means you can take the petty to the next level since they aren’t home with their stuff most of the day. He wouldn’t wanna play this game. However, a true HVM would never require such an extreme lesson, as he wouldn’t be such an asshat in the first place.

That whole subreddit is full of threads like this. I’m grateful I don’t think like a pickmeisha anymore, but it upsets me SO MUCH that women value themselves so little that they put up with spoiled manchildren for YEARS.

I checked out the post in question, and this woman was making excuses for her husband all over the thread...which tells me this is only slightly worse than how he normally treats her.

Ugh. Why?? Why do we have to live in a society where women are raised to think like this?
