The mistake many men do when approaching a woman in public is complimenting her on her beauty. If you want a woman to take your compliment with a smile then you need to compliment features, such as hair or clothing. Be more specific.

Women spend a lot of time on their looks, hair and clothing are two of the main areas. If you inquire about specific attributes and/or details you will open up a window for a conversation. Within that conversation, you get a chance to make a woman feel comfortable around you.

If all of this sounds psychopathic, it's because it is.

In my current country men (locals) do it really approach women. I haven't seen it save for some creepy guy in the park and myself of course. Most people here meet through social circles that they've had for years.

Also enough with the narrative that women have more choices than men. The female to male ratio is 50:50 pretty much anywhere in the world. It is statistically impossible that the average men and average women have more choices than the other.

If the male to female ratio was like 80:20, then yes, there would be a scarcity of women and they would have more choices. But even if you take the incel talking point that 20% of men get all the women, it still leaves women with less choices cause even the Chad's don't have the time and energy to bang 2 new women every single day.

I’m good looking but rarely ever get hit on in person. I don’t give off an approachable vibe normally, I’m always walking really fast and if someone tries to start a convo with me, I’m pretty quick to nip it in the bud.

I much prefer using online dating. I get a lot of messages on there.

if she’s 7/10+ she will be hit on and approached A LOT, both online and offline. Offers of commitment abundant.
if she is 5/10-6/10, it’s really a toss up depending on her environment, and a lot online, offers of commitment relatively low.
if she is < 4/10, very rarely offline (more likely flat out ignored and invisible, unless she makes some moves herself), and a decent amount of attention online but less so and virtually next to no offers for commitment.

I'm more attractive than average or so I've been told and I get hit on non-stop, both online and in person. I was waiting 45 minutes for a bus last week and a guy sitting on a bench near me actually started laughing because he watched 3 different guys come up and ask me out. It's actually really annoying. I'm married and I have zero interest in even speaking to men outside of my relationship because even if a man says he's cool with just being friends, he never actually means it. It's also worse when it's in person because I don't feel physically safe. Online I can just block someone. In real life, if a man hits on me, I have to be nice to avoid being assaulted.

i get approached often enough irl, but that’s just me. many women i know say they rarely, if ever, get approached irl. you’d think it’d be a looks thing, but even some of my pretty friends have said that.

irl is way better though, imo. a guy who i may never have looked at online has a chance to showcase his personality and seduction skills if he were to approach me irl.

i’ll just keep saying it like a broken record: i have met men where i initially didn’t find them attractive; but i found myself physically attracted to them after we got to have a conversation or build a rapport because i became romantically attracted to them, which made room for physical attraction to grow where it wasn’t before.

my last relationship literally started like this (inb4 “bUt DiD hE gEt SeX??¿” yes 🙄).

I used to work at a restaurant and it would happend about once or twice a month. But it was always much older drunk guys that hit on me. So no one I'd actually date.

Other than that, I've been hit on about 2 or three times I'd say. And with hit on I mean asking for my number or seriously showing interest. I don't count guys catcalling or shouting sexual inuedos at me. So it's definetly not often for me. Lookswise I'd say 6.

It depends on what you look like and how much you put yourself out there. Doesn’t happen that much for the average woman irl, we’ll get a decent amount of attention online if we put ourselves out there, but a lot of it is creepy and more equivalent to street harassment. I get hit on at the bar and most women probably do in those environments, but never experienced the “ugh I get hit on when I go to the gas station in my sweats” thing attractive women talk about. So idk if they’re exaggerating or not. They’re probably not, but this isn’t most women.
