If we actually are to "blame," then we are the heroes.

But I actually pin the blame on men for being poor partners and terrible people. Women want kids more than men, so the fact that we aren't really says something.

They say that, but their criticism stops at women as individuals instead of looking at the overlying structures that contribute to women not wanting kids in the first place. If an unwanted pregnancy will cause economic hardship and physical/mental health problems, then women are smart to delay it (or avoid it altogether). If you want more women to have children, get political and fight for subsidized child care, paid mat/pat leave, free birth control (so women have control over the # of pregnancies they endure), and better education.

I would love to be able to have more children. I don’t because it would be irresponsible to spread my resources so thin that I can’t care for them all.

If these men truly cared about growing the population they would be creating communities where women had the safeguards in place to let them cycle in and out of the workforce without risk and economic loss. They would value the stay at home moms instead of putting them in this precarious situation where their ability to feed their families depends on the fathers willingness to provide for them and having real world consequences for deadbeat dads.

They don’t care about any of the above because it’s all just a game of Civilization to them. Women are the incubators, another resource for them to use. When we are people, with our own agendas and opinions, and control over reproduction, they lose that power.

It's funny they talk about kids so much when I bet they would barely parent their own kids or take care of a household. Also if you want a kid so bad, there are lots that need loving homes through adoption.

Really it's just about sex and having a mommy slave who does everything for them not the kids part.

Leftist men are just as culpable in misogyny as men on the right, the only difference is how they express it. If you look at different traditional cultures across different time periods you will see many differences but one thing is always the same and that is the conception of a woman's place. Black, white, left, right - misogyny is the true human universal.
