Rest assured things are being done in the background.

Just because they are not posted on here for everyone to see, does not mean progress is not being made.

If you want to do something away from the internet, you could write a letter to your local politician talking about some of the issues you see posted here.

Or you could write an article about some the issues that you think are important and send it to local newspapers and ask them to publish it.

You will be surprised how many of them will be willing to oblige especially as a young person they will be impressed that you have taken the time to word something up and send it to them.

It doesn't require age or experience to make a difference, only courage and determination.

The problem is that, as an adult, if I speak out, organize rallies, etc, I will DEFINITELY lose my contract. Once it's public that I did and said these things, I'll never work in STEM again. It's like this for the VAST MAJORITY of men.

Men are doing things collectively and individually, knowingly and not to advance our cause just by acting rationally. Avoiding marriage and having kids. Expatriating. Marrying foreign women, which I did and recommend strongly. etc.

The tide will eventually turn, it just hasn't yet. Keep pushing. Patience and persistence is what erodes the mountain. :)

There are many organizations you can contribute your money and time to. A lot of them are "single-issues" organizations, for instance:

Women Against Paternity Fraud; Intact America; Fathers4Justice; Parental Alienation Awareness Organization; Equitable Child Maintenance and Access Society; Leading Women for Shared Parenting; Stop Abusive and Violent Environments; Families Advocating Campus Equality; One in Three

There are fewer organizations that are multi-issue:

National Coalition for Men; Canadian Association for Equality; Justice for Men and Boys (which is a political party in the UK)

90% of the public is willing to accept that men have problems with custody and access to their children after divorce, or with getting help when they are domestically abused, or with paternity fraud.

The problem seems to be a reluctance on the part of the public to believe that all these distinct problems stem from a single source: systemic sexism due to pervasive misandry and the "gender empathy gap".

When I give talks to audiences new to these broader problems that are the source of the smaller ones, they generally tell me they've never heard anyone address the issue like that. They share their own stories of men in their lives denied access to their kids, or financially ruined by unfair divorce settlements, or a false allegation during a custody battle.

The idea that these problems stem from ubiquitous negative social attitudes about men has never really occurred to them, and it often takes a great deal to convince them. It's much easier to believe there is a "war on women" because some company won't pay for abortions for their female employees than it is to believe there's a "war on men" because fathers are routinely denied reasonable access to their children, or are frequently arrested when abused by their wives.

The very empathy gap that causes the problems makes it very difficult for people to see or acknowledge the extent of these problems.

I would suggest to you to get involved in assisting or funding some of the organizations I listed. People like myself will continue to speak up wherever we can to try to educate the public so that the efforts of those organizations will be seen as necessary and just.

As far as ragebait goes, think of what it takes to maintain the motivation of people in this movement. For feminists, all it takes is a bunch of articles and news spots on how the AC in the typical office is too cold (for women who are allowed, but not required, to work with bare shoulders and bare lower legs, while the men are required to work in long trousers, long-sleeved shirts and ties, and blazers, no less).

For feminists, THAT kind of bullshit is ragebait, and it gets play in the mainstream media (even if it is often mocked by people with sense). Feminists can literally stay motivated over that level of grievance, while the men's movement's ragebait is just a bit different, no?

I think we need to be a lot more active on Twitter. People are too quick to dismiss twitter, it is a great platform to reach broader audiences as opposed to reddit where you only talk to other MRAs. Yesterday for Equal Pay Day, Hillary and Bernie made posts about the wage gap, and you could see a lot of people criticizing them in replies. More MRAs need to be active on there.

There's an article on AVFM for a hashtag campaign to raise awareness of male victims of rape for sexual assault awareness month (which is April). It got some attention but not enough, because a lot of MRAs aren't on twitter. It's not like Twitter is a feminist circle-jerk, Milo has 200k followers on there and the anti-SJW #TheTriggering hashtag got a lot of attention. If #TheTriggering can get spread around so much that it gets media coverage, why can't MRAs get #CallitRape half as much attention?

I'm sure you can find active places for yourself if you can stand the heat you will bring on yourself. The feminazis have overall narrative control and we are in a gender war with them where they have home field advantage.

The issue with coming out in the open and openly, with you face, name, and everything, advocating for the rights of men and boys, is that you're going to be targeted by people who care nothing about your life or humanity. They WILL find out where you work. They WILL find out where you live, and they WILL turn you into a social pariah.

The 'Ragebait' serves two purposes. For one, it reaffirms those of us who are here that there IS a problem, and it NEEDS to be fixed. Every article, more or less, also serves as proof that not only do we have the right to exist as a movement, but it also gives proof that our detractors care more about putting a man down rather than helping him back up. That's also before mentioning that every article on here is a red pill (not /r/redpill ) waiting to happen for someone who comes on here in a fit of free thought, coming to sate their curiosity. They see us discussing an issue, an issue that's incontrovertible, and see that we aren't bitter misogynists that hate women, but we're people just like them, and they see that we're -pissed-.

The culture isn't ready for us, yet. We're still making our baby steps into the hearts and minds of (at least Western) civilization. As soon as the majority of people see men as human beings, then we will be able to show our faces without fear of reprisal and damnation.

I agree. The NCFM lawsuit against selective service is a great example of this, but unfortunately the only one I can think of. We need more of that...it brings attention to these issues, if nothing else. There are certainly plenty of equal protection challenges we could bring before the courts, many of which could probably be taken all the way to SCOTUS...I think it would be great to have some people dedicated to actually doing this.

This has always been the case with this reddit. Reddit is not an appropriate avenue for activism in general. This reddit is best understood as an educational tool.

Join a homeless shelter. Join (or found.) a domestic violence group. Do stuff.

Join other organizations and charities and practice entryism, too. It's not that difficult, and fairly rewarding. But acting through reddit? I don't see how.
