OP, it's time to leave this group. This is a support group. If you don't need support or don't want to offer support, leave. Yes, men here sack up and move on, at their own pace. You realize a lot of divorces are more complicated than yours, right? 15k? LOL. I'm over 200k and still fighting. You don't understand the real struggle some men in here are facing. Compassion and empathy are a real thing, not sure you have it.

We aren’t here to judge other men who post. The purpose of this room is for men to be supportive of other men and to offer advice. Every man who posts here has a unique set of circumstances, and is dealing with the ramifications of divorce, all on their own unique timelines. Although your post is comical in a sophomoric sense, it shows that you don’t understand the whole reason why this room exists in the first place, and that’s to gain strength and insight through solidarity. Your post does the opposite of that. Please try to be more empathetic to the unique circumstances of other men during their journey of healing. Thank you.

I can understand that you need to move on and not dwell on the past but some of these guys here have been with their spouse for over 10 years. Just imagine losing someone you cohabitate and are intimate with for 10 plus years and someone tells you to just “forget” about them, it takes time and therapy.

Wooow, $15k you lost? And that's it? Some here lost ALOT more, leaving them almost destitute and/or lost access to their children. So maybe get over yourself.

Just for reference: I initially paid $100k (leaving me broke) and will pay $600k CS over the next 15 years. Hence I will probably never be able to financially recover before retirement.

My ex moved 2 hours away (with our young kids) to her affair partner. I see them every two weeks. So maybe take your $15k tough-guy act and shove it.
