Can't let that stuff get to you, as it was said in a previous post, need to set boundaries. Need to let your daughter know that you don't need to hear about what mom is doing, and you need to not worry about what she's doing. Need to start worrying about your own life and where you're headed

Who cares. Boundaries.... even with your 9 year old. Sit him down and set boundaries about the play by play that happens at mommy's house. If you don't, you'll go crazy thinking about and possibly responding to every one.

This does remind me how my oldest daughter wanted to give me the play by play of everything her mother was doing so I had to put a rule in place. The rule was that they got to talk about the happenings at their mother’s house for just five minutes right at pick up. After that we would move on. I said unless you feel your life is being threatened or a crime is being committed you have to keep it in that five-minute period.

That’s so absolutely disgusting, I have an ex-wife that has absolutely no boundaries like this, it’s really bad for the kids and it’s really toxic to the whole family, some of these people can’t be helped, they live in their own world and they’re just disgusting.

Read the book “Divorce Poison” It’s about what to say/not say to your kids when your ex alienates you — which is what she’s subtly doing by comparing you to her bf in front of your 9 year old kid.

its child abuse. kid grows up thinking of normal life / family etc, now kid is being told by mother that dad's worth nothing and can be replaced.

and downvote me if you want idc, but kids growing up follow in their parents footsteps. this is only setting the kid up by the mother, to repeat the same toxicity. when she's grown up she will also likely have affairs, marry and divorce, etc.

my ex wife did that to me and her mother also did it, and her grandmother before her also did it.

Your daughter knows who you are, it's obvious you are very close, keep building that relationship with her and create memories together.

Don't allow these things to get to you. You know who you are and you are an awesome dad. Your daughter will figure things out as long as you stay calm. Don't even discuss the new guy with her.

If it makes u feel better my ex hit me in front of the kids then tried to hit me with her car w the kids inside and I pressed charges on her , she goes to jail and is keeping the kids from me until we go to family court cuz she’s mad she went to jail for a night. Deep breathes… I miss my kids
