What are you doing to hook up with women who are divorced? I’m not sure what I’m looking for here, other than a clear path toward hooking up with men in my town. The caveat is I have very little time. Also, I don’t know how to make this read like a genuine question - every way I’ve thought of it sounds like I’m begging for my inbox to overflow. I just want to know how and where you’re approaching women. I’m not into online dating, I want to be around men in person. My situation is that I’m in the process of being divorced. Around the time we got married, maybe 5 years ago, my husband decided that if I finished, I must be satisfied, despite me telling him differently. For me this can happen easily and prematurely, and when that happens, I’m keyed up until I sort it out myself. This is a permanent side effect of pregnancy, I guess. Anyway, he progressively did less and less in the bedroom until it just boiled down to me doing everything if I wanted any sex, including initiating, which I had to manage in a 30 minute window btw the time he woke up and the time he thought about what he wanted to do for the day. 75% of the time, he would decline anyway. The last time I initiated, he declined and started a huge fight. I got the sense that he hated me - and Jesus writing this, I get it. This is pathetic. But I couldn’t cheat, so what else could I do? I did take lots of anti-depressant to kill my drive. So it’s been a year since that last time, except once on a trip that I just let him do it. Kind of a final hurrah. I knew we were getting divorced. My point is, I haven’t been wanted in a long time, and that is what I’m looking for - in person. And the problem isn’t my physical attractiveness - I know this because of how men treat me. My husband told me he married me because he wanted a mother. Then he started to hate me, and globally refused to meet any need I brought to his attention. So where do I need to be to be pursued? A bar? Home Depot? Target? Wear more dresses? I have two young kids, and I’m not trying to date. This has just gone unmet for so long.
