I feel really really glad that there are communities such as this where women can come together and speak about their experiences candidly. It is so difficult to connect with like minded GROUPS of other women in real life.

I really appreciate this community. I haven't been actively participating as much lately but I am reading a lot of everyone else's posts and you are all proper hardcore women, it is extremely uplifting even when it is serious. I am greatful to know that my experiences aren't isolated ones. That there are women all over the globe experiencing similar struggles to me. May we all continue to carve out happiness and safety for ourselves.

This sub is like the family I never had. Although my dad did an amazing job with raising me, both me and himself has felt that it is sad that I didnf have any kind of mother figure in my life who could learn me things. By joining here, I feel I have found what I have missing having my whole life - women who supports each other and gives advice to protect us. I have learned a lot by just being here than my own mother learned me. She was always too busy with her new abusive boyfriends and neglected us children.

One time when I posted here, I started to cry a little. Because it was so amazing to see how supportive you are. I can post what I want without fearing you judging me. I have learned and still learn that I have more purpose in life than being some wife and being baby trapped with a LVM. I know I am free to do whatever I want. It hurts that my mom never learned me this, her actions learned me that abuse was normal. I now know it is not, and I know now what to look out for. I now know that I dont need some approval from men to feel good about myself. I know that I dont have to sexualize myself and objectify myself to feel attractive for men. I feel home here, and I wished I found this sub earlier. However, what matters is that I have now found it and I love being here💗

Especially needed in the face of so many men doubling down on their toxicity thinking that they're defending masculinity against the accusation of toxic masculinity which is completely insane! Hot air windbag bullies beating their chests like gorillas and self-proclaiming alpha maledom while they insult mock and put down anyone weaker anyone different anyone perceived to be weaker or different than them. Oh yeah gentlemen, this is what all of us ladies have dreamed of for what kind of man we want to be with!

this sub taught me so many things about being an empowered woman. it opened my eyes to how much disrespect i had endured. i only found this sub about 2 years ago when i was 21. My life has changed SO much for the better. I am happier and in control of my future. Thank you so much all of you.. i literally can’t thank you enough.

This is so wonderful! For the life of me I will never understand why so many people think this sub is toxic! I'm guessing it's mainly ill-informed people thinking it's some type of hate sub. It's absolutely not! I have found some of the most uplifting, loving, hilarious, strong, helpful and intelligent posts here. You all are incredible and I'm so thankful I found this sub. 💖

This illustration is amazing, and just make me realize why other similar images bothered me. These hands aren't just hands of different races, they all have personality and individuality. This artist did an excellent job of showcasing diversity without it being token.
