I think women are trained to believe that the longer you are in a relationship, the more successful your relationship is.

You can be in a 20 year marriage, but if it's a shitty marriage that was doomed from the start, that just means you wasted 20 years. Staying doesn't get you a medal or prize after X amount of time.

These days, 1-2 year relationships are considered "successful", even when they end, just because the couple stayed together for a couple of years. The standards for measuring relationship success is very, very low. Most of these relationships could have and should have ended at 3-6 months, but a lot of women are brainwashed to believe that they're going to get some prize or reward if they stick around longer. These relationships tend to be very emotionally damaging, and the time it takes to recover from the breakup can be like a mini divorce. People take a surprisingly long time to recover from 1-2 year relationships. So let's say you date someone for 2 years, then take another year to get over it-- you just wasted 3 years of your life.

You need to be prepared to cut your losses early, since men fully bank on forever girlfriends now, it has become normal. In the past, I think men were pressured by their families and friends to put a ring on it (not like that was a good thing), and now it's become socially acceptable to string along a woman for a decade. So the option of a scrote settling for you due to family pressure/public humiliation, as low as that is, is not really an option anymore. You might be willing to settle for scraps, but the scrote you're with doesn't even want to give you scraps.

In my opinion, sunk cost fallacy mentality is a big reason why so many women waste their 20s. All you need to do to waste your 20s, to permanently sabotage your future, is to get involved in 2 relationships with LVM banking on sunk cost fallacy. You don't even need to marry them or have their kids, to waste your youth and hurt your future-- just giving them too much of your time and energy can ruin your life. Not that being older is bad, you can still date and do whatever you want, but your 20s provide the most opportunities for relationships, making friends, education, learning skills, etc. Wasting all of that banking on sunk cost fallacy is tragic.

Don't get brainwashed by the mentality that a failed 2 year relationship is superior to a failed 2 month relationship. The woman who ended things with a LVM at 2 months is far, far better off-- she has invested far less, the guy hasn't broken her down, she can move on easily, recovery from the disappointment of the breakup will take a fraction of the time compared to the woman reeling from the end of a 2 year relationship.
