Most little girls are encouraged to play house before they can formulate complete sentences. Most girls are taught that marriage is the ultimate goal in life. They're taught to excuse bad male behavior and keep their standards low because men can't help themselves. They are taught the most you can hope to achieve in life is submitting yourself entirely to a man.
