I’m sitting here in my office at my job and a service customer continuously keeps walking and lurking by my desk. Then he asks me “Are you in your 30s? Just asking because you seem the same age as me.” First of all, what? I don’t care how old you are. And second of all I’m in my 20s. I politely (because I’m at work) say that I’m in my 20s and turn back to my computer to continue doing my work. He’s legitimately wearing a video game T-shirt and cargo shorts carrying a briefcase and is at least 3 inches shorter than me.

Not taking the hint, he then goes on to ask me how I like working here, etc. I say I love it and it’s a great place without moving my eyes from my computer. He walks away for a little bit.

I then go outside to take a phone call while he walks around outside conveniently taking a phone call at the same time. It’s obviously a fake phone call and he’s just trying to listen in on my conversation and make me think he’s something special, talking about buying/selling stocks or something. Cool dude.

When I come back inside, he still continuously walks by my office and makes comments and asks questions every once in awhile. Since I’m at my job in a customer service related industry I can’t just tell him to fuck off. I asked our service department to rush his car through so he could get out of here and they assured me it would be done in 10 minutes.

I go over to another building in the complex to eat and spend about a half hour there and come back and this scrote has WAITED for me. He practically bounds up to me in the parking lot and asks for my number and says “you seem really nice and I would love to get to know you.” Dude I HAD to be nice to you because you decided to harass me at my workplace!! I declined and mentioned I had to get back to work and he tried to convince me to give it to him! The audacity!

For lurking males: hitting on women when they are in positions where they are obligated to be polite to you is NOT okay.
