That is why I always just shake my head at women who take their cheating husbands and boyfriends back. The women really believe that these men love them and that is why they want to be with them, but they don't. They just don't want to be alone. Most men can not handle being alone. A lot of women are the same way though, and that is why they put up with so much bullshit.

Totally. Look how fast men get remarried after a divorce, so many of them cant go a year or two before being remarried to some poor unsuspecting pick-me while their ex is like "I'M FREEEEEE!" I've witnessed it a few times. Men are opportunists and users. Nobody's "falling in love" that much or that fast. They're looking for someone to leech off of.

Oh my, you're right; I just noticed this.

They need that emotional labor because a therapist costs too much.

They need that physical body to go places with them because they hate doing things alone.

They need that pickme energy (washing dishes & cooking for them) because they miss having someone to clean up after them.

That's probably why they don't care about making it official/engagement because they know another girl will come along to do the job and they don't have to put in the effort. Then once they hit 30 or 35, they want a more permanent maid so they decide to get married and don't improve at all. Then when she dies an early death, they get married to a young girl to change their diapers.

Perhaps with all these men yelling at women saying "You'll end up single and lonely" they are just projecting.

They can't be alone because they need the high of the honeymoon stage or just someone else to put up with their shit. As long as someone else caters to their needs, there's no need to work on themself or do the work to maintain a relationship

My ex husband remarried someone 13 years younger than him less than a year after our divorce was finalized (I left him). I realized he just wanted to be married, the actual woman didn't matter, he would have been fine if it was me for the rest of his life, as long as he had someone taking care of him. I feel kind of bad for her because I know he has the emotional depth of a puddle and he doesn't really know how to love someone in any meaningful way.

It's prevalent here with old men, as soon as their wives die of old age they remarry a couple of months later to a much much younger woman so that she takes care of him. Never happens with women though, they're like once is enough now I can rest

They are all like this. I'm in my 50s and most of my girlfriends have been divorced for a long time. The majority of them remain unmarried by choice even though some have boyfriends.

The ex-husbands on the other hand, mine included, remarried within 2 years tops. Some of those ex-husbands have been remarried AND divorced again. They cannot be alone at any age.

I think this is also why men think of every interaction with a woman as a potential relationship. Platonic 'friendships' arent real to them (esp if you're conventionally attractive) because they are constantly evaluating women as potential partners/mommys/bangmaids etc.

A guy I knew from elementary school friended me on Facebook. Life has...not been kind to him, shall we say. A couple kids by different women, jobless (supposedly on disability), living in a shack, but somehow has a new live-in girlfriend within weeks of his last baby mamma dropping him.

He tried messaging me with the, "oh you're so pretty you look just like you did when we were kids" bit. 🙄

Practically every man I've talked to on dating apps has only just got out of a relationship. I'll ask a question such as "when was your last relationship?" And they'll have only gotten out of a long term relationship of 2 years+ 2/3 months ago but claim they are 'completely over it' and 'are ready to move on'

And even worse, is when your female friends literally see the person you were dating back on tinder literally days after you have broken up/ stopped seeing each other.

One of the revelations FDS opened my eyes to is that men treat a wife as a mommy#2. I was never really interested in marriages but OMG this was such a fresh news to me. Every marriage/relationship, even my own past ones, displays this dynamic, I'm fucking mind blown, all pieces of the puzzle suddenly came together🤯They literally need a caretaker, the Grown. Up. Men. And I think it's a disgrace. Embarrasing, soo embarrasing for them. I don't accept it. 😡Wipe ur own fckin ass big boy.
