He's a disgusting and predatory person. No decent human would shame someone they care about over an accident due to illness. The "gift" thing is so fucking cruel too. Replies are actually dead on which I'm a little surprised by.

I'm curious if the friends are his or hers? I'd be shocked if my own good friends didn't stand by me and sided with a dude they don't know well that was visibly making me upset and encouraging them to make fun of me. I would be taking this whole event as a big learning opportunity and cutting everyone that participated out. She definitely didn't deserve what happened but it's obvious that she has ignored some massive red flags just to get to this point.

People who do this to others are just straight up mean and assholes. Taking advantage of someone’s vulnerable moment and then attempt to make fun of it and then call them too sensitive and dramatic. Like no she’s not too sensitive for rightly expressing how sad she feels about what these people did, both her bf and her friends are just a bunch of mean people that doesn’t deserve her at all. Hope she can find better people to be around who respect and care about her.
