I read this tweet as trying to show all the unpaid, unthanked labor that women-- particularly moms-- do. I don't see her glamorizing anything; maybe just wanting a shred of recognition or appreciation.

This isn't "hot girl shit" it's being a bangmaid and over worked and under valued. I'm tired of the glamorization of women that do it all because some scrote is lazy and gaming. There is no prize or actual appreciation for her work, she will only be more stressed, more frustrated, more angry, and more likely to become depressed, anxious, age faster, gain weight, and get sick (yes these are the medical risks of a high stress environment)

I saw my mom like this growing up with my lvm dad when I was little. As I got older I helped her a lot. The stress of having to do it all: take care of kids, pets, a house, pay bills, cook meals, clean, and take care of a man child will wear you down hard.

Saying "they dont even know" isn't an excuse either, because all it takes is for you to say it once- boom, now he knows. But you won't say to him, will you? Because you know he still won't do it.

I, my friends, and the ladies here at FDS, have convos about this stuff all the time. About the mental load, how much women do, how men dont even have awareness of all that needs done to run a home because they dont have to do any of it...
