Working in fashion has made me immune to good looking men. I’m around them a lot, have to interact with them professionally no matter how hot they are, and came to realize that most of them really aren’t worth knowing. There’s no spell anymore and I evaluate based on their actions not their 8packs lol

I recommend volunteering for some of your local fashion shows if you can. It’s super fun, and maybe you’ll break the spell too.

Uhgg this fuckboy I've been talking to has me exhausted. I'm not looking for a relationship at all right now so I specifically went for casual with a fuckboy, but now he's all sad because I said "obviously this isn't going to turn into a relationship" during a conversation the other day. "Says who??" Says me, buddy. Funny how he was all for no strings (he had another girl over the day after me.....) until I'm the one saying no strings.

By the time their spell wears off you’re so dependent on them and have idealized their mask so much that letting go becomes akin to a heroin addict trying to abstain from drugs. Had a guy like this briefly before meeting my husband. Couldn’t call him a boyfriend because he vehemently didn’t want labels. However he’d get jealous when other guys would hit on me and rush to come hold my hand—gross possessiveness with no other benefits. Sexual stuff that actually pleasured me was off limits for “girlfriends”. He was also a passive aggressive pig who’d name-call and act like it was endearing. He had some nice moments but that’s bare minimum bullshit. I got sick of his hot and cold ways and even at just 18 knew I was worth more and could do better. I started hanging with different people (as did he—but only he was looking to make me jealous while I ignored him more and more). Started talking to my husband and I didn’t even think of this dude anymore. One day—the last time I saw him or spoke to him—he was sitting with a new girl outside our dorm building and trying to name-call me like it’s cute—I turned to him and told him to go fuck himself. The girl looked shocked and he laughed. But I got the last laugh as fuckboi dropped out of school in just another couple of weeks from then. The man I married not only earned his degree but is a highly paid professional. Hahahahahaha!
