Is it just me or are 99.9% of men incapable of suggesting anything else than walk, café, or drink dates? I just started applying standards - after reading through the handbook - and hardly anyone asking me out qualifies anymore after starting to reject drink, walk or coffee dates (for online dating, which is the only medium possible at the moment).

Even after decent pre-date phone calls in which they discuss activities, they suggest a walk and coffee - when I reply my preference (food, museum.. anything that is more interesting) this has led me to either being ghosted or unmatched etc. etc.

I find it extremely rare that any of them comes up with something creative in the first place. How can this be so difficult?! It of course shows that the vast majority are not suitable - but I guess that was to be expected.

Has anyone made OTHER experiences when online-dating? Perhaps I'm doing something wrong in my profile?
