Please refrain from making PSAs- that is for the mods to do and discuss. It is necessary for new members to see male depravity for what it is, Reddit is one of the few places women can observe this bc it’s an anonymous platform and men feel they can be honest here or women feel less pressure to lie about their shitty relationships. On one hand I agree, especially when it's about violence or death. But on another hand, I have learned so much about what men are capable of and what wisdom FDS ladies have that I have never even thought about. These posts opened my eyes on so many things! I'm much more cautious and aware now.

Personally I find these kind of posts pretty useful. You might know how men think, but a woman who is new to this sub and maybe still on the libfem train might not.

Isn't there an option to filter out posts with a certain tag or something?

I don’t disagree. Seems like spam at this point because there’s so many.

The tag should stay and many of these posts are worth the attention here, because they’re a reminder especially to any newcomers. The reason we need a strategy is because we need to weed through sick and depraved men in order to find good ones, and seeing their thoughts so clearly written out are their giveaway.

This part of FDS really helped me in that it hammered home that these men know exactly what they’re doing. They’re not stupid at all, they’re not incompetent, they’re not “on the spectrum,” they don’t need CommUNiCaTion. They already know. No more benefit of the doubt.

That said, someone posted a screenshot of some oldster writing gross shit about some young model. Let’s skip that forever please.

On other subs they use trigger warning and the photo is blurred. Maybe we could do that at FDS so those who agree with OP can scroll past. But those who are still understanding the depths of male depravity can click to view.

I’m guilty of this for my most recent post which was removed by mods for low effort content. Not taking it personally since this has happened to other user’s posts for the same reason and I see my mistake. Sometimes I get so worked up and triggered myself, I feel tempted to ask FDS for reassurance that I’m not the only one who thinks how I think. However I now understand how this can be more harmful than helpful. FDS is meant to be a safe space for women and I do feel bad for unintentionally making any one here uncomfortable. I think male depravity tag deserves to stay because there are still high quality posts that have come from it, but I do see the point of what OP said and I am sorry for my own mis-steps. Reflecting on how intention doesn’t always match impact is important so that I‘ll be more careful with what I share to our community. 🤍

Agree. I like when male depravity is posted accompanied by an informative post explaining what went wrong there or how to possibly avoid being with such scrote in the future, red flags, strategies and stuff or as a warning to possible outcomes of pickmeism. But just pure male depravity with no "lesson" then we could just go to any relationship subreddit to find.

Agreed. I feel like people respected this rule at first, then after a few weeks we were flooded with low-effort posts again. I’m talking about screenshots of male depravity, sometimes not even in the context of dating.

I see where you’re coming from, and I agree, but I also think women new to this sub might find these posts, and the discussions they Host (which I think is the valuable part) very useful to open their eyes and widen their perspective.

Maybe we could share them under a spoiler tag?

Also, it's not HV behavior to re-post content that obviously comes from a place of mental illness. We work on ourselves, we uplift people that want help, and learn the red flags.
