I remember the post on RPW around Christmas where the OP gave detailed advice on how to make your Captain happy during a stressful holiday time.

It involved the basic RPW duties, stuff like cleaning and cooking, giving him all the space he needs, and not expecting him to take part in any of your family activities.

The most heartbreaking part was her advice to not expect a thank you. Not for giving presents to him or other family members, not for cooking or cleaning, not for anything. Just quietly do your duty and manage an entire household while he sits on the couch and can't even bother to notice what you're doing, let alone show you the appreciation needed to say two words and hug you.

Occasionally, you see some well-known poster, often one who just recently has been gushing about her pregnancy and how well this man provides for her or something, just disappear without a word and delete all her posts. You just know she caught her husband cheating and is thinking her life over. I used to lurk there but I can't anymore, I feel so much pain for all these women who could have the world if they just demanded it and instead are stuck with abusers or emotionally indifferent sociopaths because they think that's their place.

I haven't laughed this hard in ages. RPW is the same ideology where a woman who works full time with an unemployed/retired husband still has to make him dinner after working full time at a high stress job. RPW is the same ideology that told women to not expect a gift or even a thank you for doing all the prep work for Christmas. I can't even take RPW seriously lmao. It's literally the worst of patriarchy and liberal feminism - still expected to work full time or you're a leech, yet you're still also doing ALL the cooking and cleaning and not even getting a thank you.

I don't hate men. I refuse to accept poor behaviour from men. RPW accept it, are told that their value is in their youth, and their behaviour is controlled by fear and low self esteem. They're told that it's fine for men to "spin plates" while they need to stepford-wife it up at 22 for a 35 year old "Captain". Ridiculous. A couple of years back when I was in a horribly abusive relationship I used to read books that redpillwomen recommended because I thought my behaviour was causing the abuse (It wasn't). I was desperately trying to modify my behaviour because I thought it would make him treat me better. (Of course it didn't - abusers gonna abuse). It puts totally undeserving men on a pedestal and reduces women to objects to do their bidding. The sub only benefits men. It basically teaches women to be complete doormats for them - I found it incredibly harmful. The whole redpill movement has had such a negative impact on women.. Just vile.

On the other hand, I found FDS a few months ago and I have never been more confident in my life. This sub has been life-changing in such a positive way. I'm finally learning my value and and developing a strong sense of self esteem which is allowing me to start removing toxic influences from my life and take good care of myself. Redpillwomen teaches the opposite - all of the focus should be on catering to men. So disempowering. FDS teaches women to truly value themselves and not put up with any mistreatment - how can that possibly be negative?

I remember finding RPW years ago, it lasted briefly. First, because it was too neocon for my taste but also because it was painfully obvious most of their men weren't "Captain" material at all.

You know who could make the perfect "Captain"? a HVM, but no HVM is interested in controlling people to begin with. It is like asking a decent person to become a benevolent dictator. No good person wants to be a dictator to begin with.

Wanting romantic relationships to be asymettric and static is problematic itself. Relationships with friends and romantic partners are for equals and are dynamic. The only relationships that should be assymetrical is parents and children, and similar.

Also -and I hope you don't think I'm over empathysing with men here- delegating all the decisions to someone else is not only very dangerous, it is also in a way lazy. No healthy and self-respecting guy will put up with a woman that behaves as his daughter in the same way none of us here is willing to mother an adult manchild.

They need us to be evil women who mistreat and disrespect (aka not obey) their boyfriends. We're just women who are cautious.
