Also you can and should report guys looking for fwb on Hinge. It's literally in their terms of service that you can only look for a serious relationship on Hinge. I don't remember the exact process but choose "inappropriate content > inappropriate messages" option when you report them, and then I think it gives an option for "not looking for a relationship." I don't know how effective or immediate this is, but it's something. If enough women do it, they may get booted from the platform.

I've tried and permanently deleted Tinder, Bumble, OkCupid and CMB over the past several years (I'm in my late twenties). So many matches, so much garbage like this. Hinge is next on the chopping block; I've paused my account for now. I wanted to be optimistic but my experiences--as echoed by this sub--have me almost 100% convinced finding a good, attractive man on OLD is like searching for a diamond in a massive pile of dog shit. It's just gross and not worth the stress.

I actually appreciate when they're upfront about what they're looking for.

I also look for only playmates or casual partners on OLD and am quite honest about it. When people want the same thing, great! If not, we wish each other good luck and move along. I've had men match me looking for a girlfriend but after a few lines of respectful chat we unmatch, because we want different things and there's no point in keep chatting.

I will not commit to any men in near future and I don't want to string anyone along. I appreciate when men have the courage to say what they want and go after it, whether it be FWB or a life partner.
