Yep, its actually stated in their rulebook you can't use the word manchild. They also include female derogatoey names, but just seeing the daily posts where women are called all types of names and they arent banned shows they clearly don't care about that.

Reddit in a nutshell. I am reading The Gift of Fear, it really talks about how us women are conditioned into being "nice" and how absolute misogynistic our society is, and the author is a man and he sees it clear as day. Women has to "be nice" or we get those slurs thrown at us. Seriously, like 90 % of all men are trash. There are decent ones out there, but the large majority just fucking sucks. Reddit is a prime example of this. Predators the lot of em. (It is why they hate strong women)

I love that book. I Definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't read it. Especially during or after an abusive relationship or toxic situation with someone. It helped me recalibrate and understand what I was feeling was valid and never to distrust my intuition again.

They had an entire post where a guy asked if it was okay to call a women he hated a bitch. His sister told him to stop because it was a slur against women. Everyone in the comments claimed he was NTA.

Yea. Take a look at how they responded to the guy who left his baby alone every single day for an hour to go to the gym (voted not the asshole) vs how they responded to the woman who left her kid at home while she went out for a 10 minute jog one time (she was voted the asshole).

Seriously? Several women in my family were trapped in abusive situations because they were SAHMs and didn't have their own sources of income. One of them, an aunt of mine, continues to struggle with alcoholism because of the abuse she endured from her ex-husband (who, by the way, was a pedophile that abused 4+ girls in my family). I will NEVER fully depend on a man financially.

We women are often considered the weaker sex, but it's clear that (at least in today's society), that is not so much the case. Aside from physical differences, we get called worse names and receive worse treatment than merely being labelled a 'manchild'.
Remind these men of their privilege, and they get particularly antsy, saying that talking about privilege is the reason why 'feminists aren't taken seriously'. That's a topic for another time/post, though.

Someone got butt hurt by the term man child LOL. How I see it is, it hit too close to home. Whenever I see people complaining about FDS or get hurt by the terminology we use, it means they realize that they fit the definition. Any real man will agree when we call someone out as a man child. The males hating on us are the ones who fit the “LVM” or “NVM” definition.
