You date a rich guy and get accused of being a gold digger. (So what?)

You date a broke guy for his "potential" with a high likelihood of him never achieving anything and live a life of misery.

Your only chance of "winning" is by dating a broke guy who miraculous becomes rich, but like you said there's a higher chance of being divorced because he then thinks he deserves someone better and younger. Barf

I feel like the men who throw the loudest tantrums about ~evil gold diggers~ are upset because money is the only thing they can offer a woman and being reminded of it wounds their ego. Like, bro, if you think your wealth is the only reason women are into you, you need to work on yourself lmao. Ironically, most men with this attitude don't even make that much money in the first place?

It's such a weird phenomenon. I'm very career oriented and focus on making my own money, but why should other women be shamed for wanting financial security? Why do men care so much about that? Even if all the gold digger myths were true, it wouldn't even be that bad. Statistically, men make more money than women. Seriously, you must be a pretty big loser if you think your personality AND appearance aren't enough to attract a woman.

Most men out there literally seek relationship only so they can have a human-sized fleshlight available whenever. I've started being vocal about my distaste for men who sleep around and have absolutely 0 self control. It's great! They get soo shocked for some reason. I don't think there is a point in even trying to change men's minds about topics such as gold diggers, instead we should focus on shaming them for their degenerate behaviour in subtle and effortless ways <3

Most guys who have an issue with gold-digging don’t have any actual gold.

The men who “offer gold” in order to be able to date a younger, beautiful woman, know that this is only because they are providing. Sure, some are delusional but for the most part, they’re not clueless that it has to do with their gold. And because they actually have gold, they’re not so stingy about being generous with it.

But the men who shame women for wanting a provider when they just want a woman for her looks, they usually don’t have anything at all.

What men are ACTUALLY angry about is that nowadays thanks to Feminism, more and more women are not prevented from being independent and can afford to have standards. This means more and more women only dating a man if he actually ADDS value to her life, not just because her only choices in life are to do menial, poorly paid "women's work" or get married and live in a man's house supported by his income, which may not be great, but is at least way better than the income she could make for herself before Feminism.

Unfortunately, most modern men's standards for female beauty have been warped by porn, photoshopped images all around them, actresses who got plastic surgeries to look "naturally" beautiful, etc, to the point where the women they could potentially date IRL seem plain in comparison.

Thus, most men are settling for their partners in terms of looks, and baaaaaarely tolerate her presence as a warm sex doll to use while he fantasizes about porn, as well as cooking and cleaning and eventually making his paycheck increase by making him a father. This is what we call a "forever girlfriend" and I am saying that the man takes her for granted like that because she isn't sexy enough for his warped standards. But of course he doesn't have the grace to leave her alone and let her find someone who enthusiastically loves her, he keeps her in suspension as a forever GF, waiting for that proposal, waiting for him to finally be enthusiastic about her, while he fantasizes about one of the girls from porn finally showing interest in him so he can leave his forever GF for her. So he can leave his "plain" forever GF for a gold digger.

Of course, most men will never be rich enough to live out that fantasy. A lot of men who hate gold diggers are simply angry that gold diggers aren't interested in them. But another reason that many men will loudly proclaim to hate gold diggers and enlist handmaidens and pickmes to join in on their gossip and shaming tactics, is that they want to socially engineer society back to the time in which a woman's entire prospects for life were based on how beautiful men found her. That is to say, they don't hate all gold diggers, they just hate the women who they think **don't have a right to be gold diggers** That's who their anger is directed at.

Men see nothing wrong with a beautiful woman marrying a rich and powerful man. That is the foundation of patriarchy. But another foundation of patriarchy that no one likes to bring up, is that all women who were/are undesirable to men are punished dearly for it. Whether they be ugly, deformed, disabled, jilted single moms, widowed but too old to remarry, etc. They were condemned to poverty through only being able to marry a poor man, or they didn't marry at all and became the dreaded spinster, passed as a burden from their parents' homes to their siblings'. As someone who researches the history of Europe and America in the Early and Late Modern Periods as a hobby, these stories were EVERYWHERE.

It is simply impossible to not notice how much female suffering there was due to the only avenue to financial security for women being marriage to a financially stable man. If you want to see the absolute extremes of the desperation this paradigm caused in women of the Late Modern Period (1800s, early 20th century) there is a Youtube True Crime channel called Brief Case which documents a lot of stories of women from that period either whose abuse was facilitated by patriarchy (Eugene Marie Chantrelle, Bridget & Michael Cleary cases come to mind) or whose oppression led them to lash out (Grace Marks case comes to mind)

But yeah, the point is, men approve of gold diggers, so long as they are deemed "sexy" enough to "deserve" the supposedly lavish and privileged lifestyle of a golddigger (even if in reality it just means escaping an oppressive third world country to become an average working class American, not really lavish tbh, but you know men...)

My male relatives were praising Melania Trump, a gold digger by the very definition of the term, but hated my foreign step grandmother and their only argument was that she was a "gold digger." Poor men shit on women for being gold diggers due to sour grapes. They do want to date "stacies" but they know most of these women will go for a guy who is at least financially stable (which they are not). If these guys suddenly became rich, they would get a trophy SO or live a playboy lifestyle banging a lot of stacies despite how they used to claim they hate hot women for being gold diggers.

And nope, it's not just women who are gold diggers. Plenty of men are willing to marry women they're not attracted to as long as she's rich. Men are just less likely to admit this because of their fragile male ego.
