What I find wrong is that everything is strictly measured by women's metrics. As long as these women approve what we can and cannot like, they consider it fine, but the moment these men ask for something that they don't like, it's out of bound. I'd link the double standard to the concept of male courtship. It's difficult to not feel slighted when you are expected to do the approaching all of the work at the beginning of the relationship. The concept of courtship is supposed to be a man showing a woman that he offers more than other potential suitors. This becomes complicated when she has already slept with multiple other men. Most men will question why they should be expected to offer her more when she already slept with others. If the only answer is that you "get" to enter the legally binding contract of marriage or that you "get" the responsibility and obligation of children, then it feels like you got ripped off. People will talk about love, but realistically that's just someone saying that you are special and words are cheap.

Hypocrisy applies when you're dealing with similar situations. As it's stated in the top comment, most women can get sex easy, I've seen overweight 3s get simped up by men that I would otherwise consider 8s and above. Men, even good-looking men, can have difficulty bedding a lot of women if that was your perogative.

These two situations are incongruent. It's not hypocrisy if you want to have a well "grounded" partner. Having previous sex with a lot of women doesn't lower a man's status, it will for women. Psychologically I've noticed some of the things the RP community likes to spout about high body count women and their inability to bond well. They hardly examine this any further than the statement above because it simply doesn't matter to them, but I've noticed the other subtleties. The biggest one is women are treated better than men in most social situations by default, and women who sleep around more easily often have an easier life. For example, they aren't typically broke, they have a decent to lavish lifestyle, and if they are willing to consciously use sex as a means to an end, they can manipulate their environment to their comfort with little to no effort.

When you want to have a life partner, you don't often think of someone who wants an easy life as sustainable long term. The first sign of trouble, a disagreement, financial issues, stress etc, they bounce like a spooked jack rabbit because the hardest day in their lives so far might have been waking up late and missing a yoga class.

This is more or less anecdotal to my friends and myself, and our experience dating in the US. However, after travelling to many different countries, I can say after my observation, that if your at least a mildly attractive women in the US, you have the easiest life you could have possibly rolled the dice for upon birth. This is evident in the problems you often see them bring up on social media and the comments section echoing the same, marriage isnt easy, if you want to have a long term partner thats likely to work through problems with you instead of running back to the streets you need to find someone thats had and worked through some struggle in life. If anyone wants to challenge me on that statements I can bring in the statistics on why my point of view is what it is.

I'm a survivor, and I couldn't blame people for doing what they gotta do to survive (for example, actual prostitution. I have much more respect for an actual whore than for Cardi B. Either there's trouble in paradise, or someone involved is not being very honest.

And then, there's people who, for whatever reason, are either unwilling or unable to make intimate connection with people. I've met a few narcissists and sociopaths who fell into that category, and some had a high bodycounts, others had a pretty low bodycount. One of them, I was even her (unwilling) first victim. These people would be a hard "pass" for me, regardless of bodycount or male/female. They're not worth the trouble and headaches.

So that's my take on it. The "why sex?" being IMHO much more important than the "how much sex?".

There's multiple reasons for why a man doesn't want a high body count woman. The reasons are that a man wants a higher likelihood of securing paternity, a lower likelihood of getting std's and a lower likelihood of her cheating. I am more under the belief that body count is a silly metric, and depending on age can vary greatly. If the person doesn't cheat, doesn't have any diseases, lets say perfect in any other way for you, etc. I wouldn't jeopardize that because they've slept with people before you even knew them. Additionally, you're not a racist if you prefer a partner with your skin colour, it's not classist if you prefer a partner from the same socioeconomic background and it's not hypocritical of you if you prefer less experienced partners.
