I recognise that International Men's Day isn't exactly as popular as its female counterpart, but it still seems kinda strange for Google not to do anything on it.

Follows the same logic as why we have a Black History Month, but no Non-Black History Month. Women have historically been oppressed, so they devote a day to celebrating them. It's really not a big deal...

I know two people who have worked at Google, and let me tell you they are not a sexist company. Realistically they probably just haven't heard of it, since that site is edited by programmers working in the United States where International Men's Day just isn't that popular. They would probably do something if enough people drew attention to it, but a lot of their ideas just come from random staff saying "you know what would be cool?".
