I saw some very bad misandry at work today. It started when two co-workers, an older man (probably around 40, but I'm not sure) and a younger woman (not that young, probably in her late 20s but that's just an estimate) accidently rubbed against each other. Although both of them were equally responsible, the man got told off for sexual harassment by an older woman / a high-status female co-worker who was just one level below the boss.

This then led to a discussion advocating violence against men. The older woman asked "what do you do if there's a man who likes you but you don't like him back?" and the younger one replied "you slap him!" then the older one said no and suggested more severe types of violence. I wasn't able to look because I actually had work to do, but I was listening carefully. The older woman said something about pressure points and what the best area is to hit a man. The man who got previously accused of sexual harassment was just sitting there laughing.

And feminists say that violence against women is taught and encouraged...
