Yes! I decided to leave party politics aside years ago and take up political issues only. It turns out I'm leftist in some regards, centre in some and right-wing in others... Considering many here are Americans (I'm a Swede), most would probably consider me a leftist, however I'm really a mixture, especially in Sweden.

The idea that one can't be left wing and MRA is the kind of dishonesty i have come to expect from the right wing. After all, here i am, a left-wing, antifeminist MRA, and living refutation of that particular assertion. Left wing politics is primarily about class issues and just because a few pussies like the Dems and Labor have bought into feminist doctrine does not make the rest of us feminists, any more than the Republican party serving the oligarchy at every turn makes the average conservative someone who thinks it's okay to sell slutty outfits to little girls just because there is a buck in it.

That said, i don't expect the right wingers here to be honest enough to agree. Fools like them are more concerned about what the OP correctly describes as "cancerous politics" than they are about men's rights, that's why they keep dragging the left into arguments where it doesn't belong, and the reason we need to get more left wingers up in this movement.

Now the Right might be full of neo-con morons but lets face it the Left is more likely to cave into people who lobby for policies that are the very reason the MRM exists.

Did the new "Family Violence Bill" in Australia that would allow fathers to be stripped of any custody even if accusations against them were malicious lies get passed by the Right? No it was opposed by the Coalition and was pushed by the Greens a far-left party and Labor who are Center-left party.

Or how about the UK where the Equalities minister (who is in a Left-leaning party) won't even acknowledge IMD?

It's the same thing all over the world. If you vote Left you vote for this crap to continue.

Serious: Yes, we should be apolitical, but people have political views, and they tend to get everywhere like a messy set of watercolors, whether we like it or not. Doesn't mean we can't try to keep politically neutral with regards to MR issues, but don't expect a complete political vacuum.
