First let’s define our terms. The AF/BB strategy goes like this.

Woman has sex with an attractive guy whom she demands very little of and then she gets with a less attractive guy with all the demands. Usually the idea is that the alpha “didn’t have to work for it”but the beta did which is unfair and shows that the woman is a sneaky conniving [insert expletive].

But in my opinion and experience women always demand a lot of men. The problem is men touting this narrative simply act like alphas aren’t “working for it” even when they are. Think about these “alphas” they usually have status and money. A lot of them work out, excel at something, are charismatic etc…

In fact the examples of alphas are a lot of time star athletes and or even famous celebs (Leo DiCaprio for ex). In what world is a man not working hard to become those things? If a man is a star athlete and a woman gets with him after casually meeting but a man who isn’t any of that pays for a date to get with her how did she demand less of the former guy? The one complaining about paying for dates can always become a star athlete too to get women — oh wait that would be really hard for most guys.

Also usually women want the alphas to commit they just don’t because they have better options. In that case the beta could be described as “second choice”but hey she was “second choice” for the alpha so don’t feel to bad y’all deserve each other. Everyone has to settle on some level except for the hottest and most desirable among us.

I think modern “red pilled” men falsely assume getting women should be easy when it’s not and never was, so they make all kinds of post hoc rationalizations like AF/BB, in order to feel better about their own shortcomings they create this alpha in their mind who “didn’t do anything to be attractive to women” when in reality he did a whole lot, usually more than they did and that’s why he got the girl. It’s fierce out there. Dating and mating is not for the faint of heart. If anything I think AF/BB happens to women more because men will actually “give more” to a woman who “does less” if he thinks she is really hot or something. For ex sleep casually with side chick who is doing back flips for him but invest in wife/main chick who gives him starfish sex. Or have a concubine whose children will never inherit meanwhile wife’s kids get everything. Hmm maybe men are just projecting their own dual mating strategy onto women?
