My theory is encapsulated by this quote from PPD IRC:

As far as not wanting to approach, let's be honest - women actually approach first. We make the eye contact, do the hair flip, walk close enough that our perfume lingers - we give IOIs

If you aren’t getting an IOI, then you probably don’t reach the woman’s Standard Attraction Level (SAL) and therefore, they do not find you attractive.

Barring a great level of success that involves status or wealth, women will not respond to your “game” no matter how good it is. All women simply melt into your frame if you already pass their SAL and prove to be socially competent; if you don’t meet or exceed their SAL, then it is pretty much game over.

Thoughts?

P.S. (I am anticipating a bunch of “hurr-durr your game sux” comments. If you can provide me with some other commentary that would be great.)

Edit: I do not believe that an IOI is literally approach or that it is as challenging or whatever else. Come on people.

Edit 2: Omg, please stop thinking that use of the word approach was literal. She meant that IOIs are "girl game."

The point of this post is to challenge the idea that game is anything more than the right combination of looks and charisma.
