That’s very fair. If I reject someone I kind of don’t want to be friends with them either, so that makes it easy. I feel in my life friendly things I do after I reject someone are likely to get misinterpreted by accident and feelings are hard to squash.

I guess it’s interesting if the only women you interact with are romantic pursuits. That might be the real problem

Its not bad to cut ties. Just be polite. Done. You are not responsible for how other people feel as long as you aren't insulting, rude or anything like that when cutting ties.

It's ok that you don't want a friendship. You just don't naturally jive with women in that capacity.

I feel like being friends with women after rejection is a simp/beta male move.

But this part is concerning because sounds less like a personal preference and more like a belief that being kind to or friends with women diminishes a man's status.

No, since you communicate from the very beginning that you are only interested in her as a potential partner and not as a friend, I think this is the best approach to handling the rejection.
