You have the logic reversed though your argument is sound.

The N count is a perfectly applicable test. What you are describing is that no woman can be trusted. Hence, the correct conclusion from your argument is that men shouldn't marry. Not that they should start discounting what they cannot reliably test.

Sexual history is the single most important metric for assessing the future behavior of a sexual partner.

If someone is promiscuous, it's unlikely they will be able to be monogamous and remain satisfied.

They've demonstrated no or little evidence they can achieve a successful monogamy.

This does not mean it's not possible (necessarily disclaimer for bluepills who can't process generalities) however, it is a useful stereotype that is more often true than not.

And this is such a tired argument. You CAN know the basic idea behind where your partner lies. A girl with 150 N count is not going to be the same as girl who licked a dick once, but is otherwise virgin. The character traits that lead a woman to acting upon her sexualty 150 times instead of a girl who could only muster it once are significant.

You'll never know for sure if some slut had 34, 35, or 36 dicks in her, but it's not difficult to deduce if a girl you're with has been with 5, 10, 20, or 100+ guys. And that's where it matters, on the log scale.

That's basically what your argument is. People, especially women, can hide being crazy really well, doesn't mean people shouldn't try to screen, and doesn't mean they'll never be successful at screening. Same goes for screening for n-count.

Why stop a N count? Anything your partner says could be a lie. By your reasoning, if you cannot know the entire truth in any particular subject then the entire subject is suddenly unimportant. Do you think your reasoning might need a little work?

N count is important. But you don't need to know the precise N. You just need to know whether the woman you're dealing with is "slut" or "nonslut" (by whatever metric you want to use).

You don't need to know all of the truth. You just need to know enough of the truth, through observation and deduction, to decide roughly whether she's probably a slut; or probably not a slut.

You do that through

--asking her

--listening to the trickle truth you get from talking to her

--assessing what kinds of women she hangs out with

--slut tells

--how she talks about sex, men, dating, relationships, etc.

--her relationship with her parents and siblings

--how she describes her past relationships and sexual experiences

You don't have to know her precise N. You just have to know whether you can determine whether she's "probably a slut" or "probably not a slut". You don't have to know all the truth. You just have to determine whether her status as a slut or nonslut is "more probably true than not true".

Whether you can know it or not has nothing to do with it's relevance. Argue whether it's figurable or not, or argue whether it matters or not. You can't say it doesn't matter because you can't know it. Two separate issues.

Nope. There are other "tells." Women with low N-counts behave differently and their energy is entirely (and refreshingly) different. It is very difficult to fake an energetic emission. Though I have seen it done I have only seen it sustained over short periods. Spend enough time with a woman, observe her interactions closely, and you'll know whether her N-count is zero, low singles, mid-doubles, or low triples.

This struck me most poignantly during my best mate's bachelor party. We went skiing in Utah as he lives at the feet of the Alps and had become overly snobbish about the skiing over there.

One evening we were having dinner and two extraordinarily friendly women were sitting at the next table over. One of the crew struck up a conversation with one of them and having finished their meal they both stood at the edge of our table and spoke with us for a while. At the time we were all mid-30s to early-40s and the two women were low-20s. The sexual tension was extremely high, and everyone could feel it, but my buddies were slightly offput by the women's combination of piqued interest and genuine curiosity so the guys with more game teased them a bit. The women were immediately uncomfortable with the slight teasing, but still very curious and their sexual energy was intense.

The thing which was so unusual is that they didn't respond to us like women usually do. They didn't approach and flirt with the two of us that they found most attractive in the group while ignoring the others. They were actually able to see and interact with all of us and each of us with a beautiful naivety that felt amazing - they treated each one of us as full-fledged human beings. It was strange as we have become unaccustomed to that in our culture.

The teasing started to get a little hard and I don't think my friends were fully aware of what was happening. They just felt these women were strangely friendly but weird for not responding to well applied game in the customary manner so they were essentially blowing them off. The women didn't really understand why they were being teased and dismissed and I felt pretty bad about it so I asked one of them about the church out of curiosity. I have always had significant respect for the strong ethics and values of the LDS members I have met in my life so I thought this might be a great opportunity to learn more about the faith and make the women feel more comfortable.

That's what my buddies didn't get. These women behaved entirely differently than the behaviors to which we had become accustomed throughout our lives and radiated an entirely different and more pleasant energy because they were virgins and we had never interacted with low to mid-twenties virgins.

Your partner "could" lie about a lot of things, like whether they're cheating on your or whether they love you at all. At some point you just have to trust them.

Additionally, I think that women are losing their incentives to lie about n-count. Keeping up a certain façade throughout a long-term relationship is a way bigger hassle for a woman than just finding a man who doesn't care about her past.

it's fairly easy to make a good guess based on behavior, attitude, etc. if you have enough experience with women.

also if you are very non-judgmental and sex-positive, most women will be honest and freely discuss their sexual past with you. they only lie or keep secrets from the guys who seem really worried about n-count and will be judgmental about it.

First of all, the ability to know something is irrelevant to its importance. People slip up a lot. Even if they don't, all that is needed is to catch her in one lie. Also, there is much more info on people now, than in your grandmothers era. Unless a girl in question is very smart and private person, social networks and hdd sweep will give a guy all the info he needs to know.

I am going to explain why N count is unimportant when it comes to selecting a partner.

This is untrue. It can be an important measure of how someone feels about sex in general, and how they view the opposite sex regarding intimacy. Compatibility in this topic is a big part of having a long lasting relationship.

For example, I would never date a guy who had more than 1 or 2 ONS because the chances are he'd have a far more casual view of sex than myself. Likewise, I also wouldn't date a guy with an N above 20, and would be far more comfortable if it was around 5-10, because it shows he's better at maintaining his relationships instead of just bouncing from partner to partner or cheating. Also points toward him being a normal guy and not some Alpha/Chad who just racks up his N because he can.

True, though it is important as it tells you if someone has urge they can't control. The fact women lie about it in itself proves it matters. (I say women because we know what you're on about.)

Of course, you look at other things, is she a party girl? If yes, chances are she will be lying. Is she too good to be true? Chances are she is. Etc etc..

Basically, it doesn't change the fact that a slut will still have a hard time finding a guy to accept her number count. Well, a guy of value who knows he has options. Esp if she's a known slut.

Body count: Age that virginity was lost. Add one body for every month single and add one body for every six months in a relationship.

Lost virginity at 13. Was in a relationship for three years. Single for a year. Relationship for 8 years. Single for three years. In a relationship the last 4 years. She's 32.
6+12+16+36+8=78 bodies. This would be a conservative or low estimate for a 32 year old woman.

As far as the importance of body count it is meaningless as long as you don't commit to a LTR. If you are considering a LTR know that body counts over 15 spell disaster for the relationship lasting.

A lot of guys in this particular case will be fine with "approximately right." Since high-partner count women are a minority anyway (let's say 10+ partners) ... once you get an idea that she might be over that, you adjust accordingly.

I don't trust people who engage in casual sex. Means that sex lacks any emotional meaning to it.

I also don't trust people with lots of short-term relationships; I'm into long-term and want to know my partner is actually going to take things seriously.

At this point a specific N count hardly matters. Seems that pretty much everybody has had numerous sexual partners by their early 20's anyway.

The key thing in life, is to become a good judge of people. It is an art and not a science and is difficult as hell to discuss here. One tactic is to simpy not discuss n-count (probably the best play in my book) but if and when the subject comes up then you have to consider their answer.

And there are huge implications as to whether you believe them or should believe them.
