Being old, I have observed a drastic change in how men and women enter relationships. Please know I am speaking from my experience and my friends experience. We ladies have created lives where we can take care of ourselves, mainly because we didn't want to end up trapped in violent marriages as our mothers were. So many single men have nothing, want what we have, but cannot unlearn the faulty logic of being "in charge." Since we are never going to have traditional marriages, as in the past, (thank goodness) it seems like a new demographic is evolving and we will stop describing the sexes in terms that assume marriage is a goal?
