It's a coalition of prole men-- disenfranchised, diesmpowered and frustrated--and prole women, who in their own right feel profound dissatisfaction with the setup of modernity.

Eschewing gender is a fun game for the privileged elite, a luxury belief, but for the masses of normal people (most of whom do not frequent reddit, much less this dark corner of it), these experiments are draining and exhausting.

The normal masses are going to keep using democracy (our values and who we are!) to undermine the symbols of modernity (abortion etc). They've had a taste of the program, and they aren't having it anymore.

It's human nature to go too far, of course, to test the limits, but it's clear that the lizard people/illuminati/string pullers, whoever it is, they've gone too far for the masses to be able to stomach any further.

It will keep going--if in fact it can be reversed at all-- until the elite remember what the elites of yesteryear knew all too well: you have to put on the act for the masses, portraying as the norm what they need in order for their lives to be sustainable, setting the proper example. Have your drunken orgies in private, out of the public eye. Only husband, wife, 2.5 kids, and picket fence when playacting as the pillars of the community.

Otherwise, the arithmetic of democracy will inevitably lead to regression, the dark enlightenment, paleoconservatism, and other euphemisms.
