That being said LGBT rights are rudimentary in Russia, there's no same sex marriages and the issue don't find much support in populace. Outside of big cities gays face rather harsh prejudice. Recently gay propaganda law was extended to public places in general and new law penalising childfree was proposed.

I’m a teacher, my salary is 100k, I will be working for 30 years at this pay. Britney makes 200k, great! Britney, unfortunately is not a robot and will succumb to something called aging. Can we break this down for a second? Yes she's maximizing her earning, but are you suggesting she'll never work again after the WNBA? First, she is getting paid $221k/yr for playing a sport that she clearly loves. She started as a first round draft pick in 2013. Given that, she most likely made more than the average rookie salary of $72k, so let's call it $100k. Say she makes that annually for the first 6 years of her career (conservative estimate here) and then for the last 3 years shes made $221k per a 3 year contract. That's $1.2M in earnings just in salary for the first 9 years of her career, where again, she is doing something she loves to do. The oldest WNBA basketball player to play a full season was 41 years old at the time. Let's be conservative here too and assume Brittany would play until 38 (since she's already blown way past the average WNBA career length of 3.5 years). Assuming her salary stays stagnant at $221k from here on out, that's another $1.5M in earnings, for a total of $2.7M. That all doesn't count any sponsorships, endorsements, bonuses, payments for appearances, commercials, etc. $2.7M isn't bad earnings wise for 38 let's be real. Further, the WNBA does actually have a 401k, which I'm hoping she has taken advantage of.
What does she do after this? Well she's a celebrity and well versed in basketball, so being a sports broadcaster isn't out of the question. She also has a college degree from Baylor, but given her status she most likely could work for the WNBA herself once she retires. Or coaching is always an option. There are 100% options out there.
Are the stars of the WNBA making insane money? No not really, but I'm not going to really cry any tears for them for having to budget and live like everyone else in the world, and let's be honest, with a salary of $221k, she's not hurting unless she's just wildly irresponsible with her money. Plus she reportedly has a net worth of $5M, so she's clearly made more than just her $221k that over time. (This is all assuming she makes it back to play basketball of course.)
So I'm sorry, is what you're suggesting is that she's shouldn't have to work ever after retiring from the WNBA? Even super stars work. Actors work. Even NBA superstars go on to work on TV or start businesses. Do you think Michael Jordan became a billionaire just because of his basketball salary? That last sentence is dead on accurate, but making things illegal- especially if there's a demand for them- creates a dangerous black market no matter what it is we're talking about. It's always better to allow the sale of any commodity with oversight for safety than it is to criminalize and punish people for things we didn't bother asking them about.
