How much have you guys traveled and, more importantly, what effect has it had on you?

I'm finding that travelling helps broaden your perspective: it has helped me realize/understand that there are many paths to life; that one needn't jump into a 9-5 after Uni and, if living frugally, has the ability to travel the world on the cheap and experience so many things other people "wish they could", if it weren't for their responsibilities (kids, marriage, mortgages, most commonly).

Furthermore, I've found that travelling offers many opportunities for you to fail, learn, and grow. I'm currently living in a small town and have just returned from a trip away. The amount of weak, narrow-minded people where I live is depressing.

So again: what is your take on travelling and, if applicable, how has it affected you?

I’ve recently started digesting TRP. Doing activities and hobbies and getting in better shape. I’ve also started gaming more. Working on being bold and unapologetic. Yesterday, for instance, I parked downtown and just approached pretty girls and started conversation.

The last one, however, made me notice something. I recognized internally “this convo feels over,” then a few seconds later she said “alright well see ya!” She was receptive and such, and it was enough time that it didn’t seem like she was rushed to get away. I never had a good male role model growing up. My father was a bitter, broken man who told me I was "just about worthless" and wouldn't teach me vital skills even when I asked him to. Last Easter I was helping my mother move with the rest of the family all weekend. That night with Easter, I got lucky and ended up banging Mary on my moms new couch after everyone else had gone to bed, despite her saying often that night that she finds it hard to take me seriously. This is critique I have received often over the years from women, my guess is that they want to feel special so they express irritation towards my wide-spread flirting, which I do right in front of all of the women I target with my jokes.

The wolf doesn't take advice from the sheep on how to hunt, so I'm asking the wolves now whether or not the sheep may have a point. Am I casting a far too wide net with my flirtings? Should I learn to focus my attention on fewer targets to get more results? Or should I drop this schtick altogether?

Hearing that I'm not taken seriously angers me; I hate being seen as a complete clown despite it sometimes working to my advantage (as with Mary) and me feeling at my most comfortable when I manoeuvre myself through conversations with women I find attractive in this manner.

I’ll try to keep this as concise as I can, so here goes. My family and I have owned a restaurant for about a decade (I’m 22 so since I was a kid), it’s nothing crazy just a little hole in the wall for locals. A little bit of background: I am a 26 yo male from India. I did my engineering degree got into a well paying job. Here in India we still have arranged marriage. Arranged in the sense that it is facilitated by the family. She says she won't be able to live like this. all she wants is to stay with me all the time, no matter where but i should stay with her. We broke off the relationship. I'm currently working on simply getting myself to a better place in my life.

I've been lifting 6 times a week and have been on a pretty serious cut. I've lost just under 30 pounds in 2.5 months and I'm planning to loose another 30-40 in the next 4-5 months.

Can you change a perception of a group of (friends) that put you down in the hierarchy (both men and women) and ignore your comments on whatsapp after 2 years of that happening? It's obvious that I do not related to the men there (they are more confident than me with shit chatting, but they are all fat, into drinking and sports, while I'm into career and intellectual subjects). Is there a way you can regain dominance with little exposure? i just wanted to know if it's possible, but I tried hanging out with the guys but it was so boring, one guy takes pride of recently quitting his low-aid job without getting a better job and getting drunk on the week while watching sports and playing games). The cause might be that I'm not that great at communication skills as them (I have some sort of Aspergers so I usually don't understand the jokes the same way they do) or if it's also because I am not like them, which means they see me an outcast of the tribe with a different set of values. My question is, should an alpha male always "win" in any group situation? Note: I do not act like I'm superior to them, I actually always try to be nice

My question has to do with race..

I'm brown and grew up in a neighborhood where the majority are white. Whenever I was on vacation or elsewhere I always brought candy and stuff and gave it to people. Thinking back.. I didn't get anything back for it. I've been a nerd/autistic my whole life, and the internet has turned very "alt-right". I'm now thinking that I did a mistake giving to people who will never give anything back to me. I even helped out homeless/poor white people. I have such regrets now.

Would have been better to be selfish, which I am now, or gave it to non-whites who would help me out later on. I'm better off now. I've never had this much money before. Not saying that non-whites are that much better, but they have been more giving to me (as in, an increased chance of them giving to me, compared to whites).

I've had friends of all colors. One of my best friends was white. I don't really see anyone from my past as my current friends. I've even read stuff on this subreddit talking about being wary of "race-strangers", and seen this idea being spread a lot.

Is there something to it? Should I focus on my own kind, or at least non-whites? Should I even put down white people, so that my own "kind" be superior? What I want is what benefits me the most(what we all want).
