First off, granted, the OP behind this seems to have some BP traits like a tendency to react, and seems to be somewhat in the anger phase, seeing as he went out of his way to do this when he could be improving himself. Though he does claim to be successful so who knows. Definitely on his way though.

But still that doesn't mean what he did and the results and reaction aren't worth noting (or at least aren't entertaining).

It's outlined in the thread, but cliffnotes version: This guy isn't happy with being used to seeing men get called creepy or predators for having a preference for younger women when they aren't young themselves, or having that policed in general. Particularly on that subreddit. Which many of us here I'm sure can relate with. It really gets to him that one year ago he saw a 38 year old woman on that subreddit proudly ask for advice on how to cultivate an FWB relationship with men 10 years younger than her, and be (as he put it) met with 'open arms' and given the advice he asked for. Which again I'm sure many of us can relate to scratching our heads at.

The guy seems to touch on hamstering when he claims that he pettily linked to the thread and called people out when he saw the above phenomenon with men (he could be making that part up but it sounds plausible that they'd respond that way) and they hamster up excuses for it.

So fast forward to a few days ago. One day, the devious little motherfucker happens to have a lot of time on his hands. Remembering that thread and what I imagine going through his mind is "hey, a year has passed, I bet everyone forgot all about it, wonder what would happen if I replicate that thread word for word with the genders flipped, surely they'll welcome and advise me with open arms? And if they don't, they'll have nothing to hamster with! I'm totally gonna get them! This will be fun! MWAHAHAHA"

So the guy does this, they take the bait, he gets the negative reactions they expect.

A day later he makes a thread about his 'experiment' and what it exposed and posts the results of it, in the process of block-quotedly yelling at everyone and calling out individually each and every one of them who responded with comments that supported his claim and gloating.

Which was also a bit overkill and overaggressive and perhaps a BP-ish thing to do, but it was definitely entertaining and satisfying to watch. Everyone reacted pretty much the way you'd expect.

TL;DR: Guy trolls OKCupid sub hard by copying a woman's thread from a year ago with the genders flipped and getting opposite responses, takes the opportunity to post about it and call them out and their heads explode.

Lessons learned: Hamsters gonna hamster. Don't try to get them to see reason, it's not worth it and it won't happen.
