I'm 29. Been on more dates this year than I've ever been on in my life. Once I've started putting myself first, women have been simple to deal with. I've always Feared fighting and confrontation, so I signed up for Muay Thai.

I was an auditor for five years, and I hated it. Got fired. Thought about my "failure" for a couple days. Now I'm sure that I'll never have a job again. RP gave me the confidence to pursue self employment.

I've put on ten pounds of muscle/fat. Cleared my debts. Became an avid reader. Built a social circle full of interesting, successful people. Started a podcast. Started a self development website, a craft beer YouTube channel.

A late bloomer, in virtually every category, but it doesn't matter. I'm on the path of masculinity now, and I'll never go back. Thanks to you all.

Positives:

Getting my GPA up and working harder in the classroom.
Formed some substantive relationships with people.
Got a better job.
Volunteered.
Stopped giving a fuck about the girls.
Got up and did things instead of thinking about doing things.

Got back to where I used to be in the gym.

Negatives:

I'm basically still a beta with the chicks.
Not the best saver of money.
My biggest problem is that I have no plan, I'm graduating in a year and the only reason I'm finishing is because im about done. My major is pretty much bullshit and I wish I could restart but I'm trying to do research to see what I'm gonna do.

Last year was horrible for me. I went to a new place and that week somebody in my family committed suicide. I'm kind of the rock in my family and everybody kinda just forgot about me. Was really depressed. Beginning of 2015 I told myself I was going to change. I just happened to find TRP right after that and reading it is really helping me out.

Landed an amazing job as a restoration tech/sales rep making 4k a month+commission. 7-9k a month. Money I never thought I'd make.

Also started bouncing to just make extra cash while being out and not spending it. I'm pulling more ass as a bouncer than I did going out to the same places. Meeting tons of people and making friends.

Took up motorcycling and have a sick black triumph tbird. After my shift last night I walked into a late night Denny's style restaurant. Oh yes, this could be a very positive exercise

-Positives

Finally came out to my parents about my terrible situation at college (lack of motivation, energy, and results). It felt like losing 100kg at once. l have since had some coaching lessons with a recommended profesional that also treated a cousin of mine, and the results have been pretty good.
As a result, l have changed my major for next year, re-examined my work process and starting having things going on for myself (a driver's license and a bilingual certificate, for starters)
Started mantaining eye to eye contact while speaking and talking louder that usual. Considering l had zero eye contact with anybody in my life up until now this has gone great, although sometimes l keep forgetting.

-Negatives

All this progress has been exclusively for myself, so my environment progress is still at zero. Hopefully that will change come September when the new course begins and l get a clean slate.
My daily excercising has been stronger that it was last year, but still no gym. l could go to one in theory, but it would drastically alter my already tight schedule for the day. l will look into it though.
Still too much time wasted dicking around and doing what l shouldn't be doing. This is terrible for progress, but my stupid brain keeps thinking it needs even more room to breathe.
Once l focused on getting everything back on track l stopped coming back to this place. "It's fine" l thought, "l already know the basics". Don't think that for a second. The whole point of medication is to keep using it.

I have achieved around twice as much as l have in the last 2 years (which l thought were inmense progress) and yet it feels like l haven't done shit in the grand scheme of things. l guess that's the way this things work, gotta keep going.

Positives:

-More social thanks to where I work. Still some social anxiety, but not as bad as it used to be.

-Lifting, trying to minimize fuckarounditis, so built a home gym to keep it timely, and consistent.

-Diet, cut out as much junk food as possible. I am currently losing weight. I use MFP to keep track of my meals. Very nice to know what I am putting into my body every day; my calorie intake, deficit, macros, etc. Changes your entire perspective on dieting.

-Adopting small little disciplines , reading for an hour or two every day about subjects I enjoy. Also started doing little things I'd never do such as brushing my teeth, cleaning my face, making my bed, meditating, etc.

-Used to have issues with alcohol, and have cut that down to once every week, or every two weeks. Working on trying to get it out of my life for good. But going from day to day binge drinking to once a week is fucking huge progress for me.

Negatives:

-Porn/Masturbation is still an issue, I know a lot of people go cold turkey, but it really is hard to quit, or I am just not trying hard enough. Still working on it.

-Although my job has helped me improve socially, it's a typical dead end job, and I've fallen into a comfort zone. For some reason I keep thinking it's the end game, but I need to really kick myself in the ass and find something self-sustaining.

-Video Games. I've been going into periods of not playing them and focusing on better things, then falling back into them. Again It's something I really need to try harder at eliminating.

-Women. Not important right now.

Definitely could be doing better, and I know I can do better, but I am proud of the progress I have made this far. I just need to avoid getting complacent.

I set a solemn goal for myself to burn off my small gut and get a six pack.

I run 20 mins 2x a day now, and I'm consistent with it unless I get ankle pain
I have my diet under control now, sticking to my calorie plan
I went to an employment office to hopefully get a job
Got a nice haircut

It's not much but it's a start.

26 got one year left of school to get my BS in Physics. I am 6ft and 200lbs and actually lost strength this year. I am currently at a 365 bench 495 squat and 545 dead lift However - I picked up my mile time from 8:30 to a 6:00 and have begun climbing mountains. I have climbed Mt.Whitney, Rainier, Middle Teton, Washington, Mt.Elbert and a number of other less prominent peeks. I have kept on with reading the classics and am almost finished with any given list of whatever influential books. I continue to hone in on my writing and music skills. I had a girlfriend (HB 9) who turned out to have a serious drug problem - I helped her detox and got her into the right programs and then left her. It's been hard. I am on my way gentleman and every day is a struggle but I trust that I will make it and you will know of me before the end.

I'm 21.

Positives: Finally internalised what I've spent the last 12 months reading here on TRP. Slept with the same number of girls in the past 6 months as I have in the entire rest of my life. Doubled how much I lift on the big 3 and lost 5kg body fat (now sitting at 12-14%). Finally taking my studies seriously and improving the relevant practical skills. Moved out of home, became financially responsible, started volunteering.

Negatives: Having a lot of anger related to TRP principles. Have become significantly, significantly less social.

Instead I think I'll give anyone who reads this comment my own insight on how to achieve some forward momentum for a path of success.

Remember, until the day you drop dead your SMV will always be the thing you need to focus on. Looks, Money, Status, these things are what life is about, it's what happiness and self-fulfillment revolve around. Consider dividing up your internal goals from your life goals. Your internal goals are the things you're going to be consciously rectifying on a daily basis; like your habits, your demeanor, and your mentality.

Each applicable theory you learn on this subreddit needs to be implemented with constant discipline through out your days.

We are creatures of habit, and habits need time to be constructed and deconstructed. This is what I did.

I bought a calendar and wrote down two activities in which I would set as my focus for development. For example:

Monday - Posture & Tonality.

Tuesday - Meditation & Stoicism

Wednesday - Emotion Control & Amused Mastery

Thursday - Power Talk & Dominance

A lot of the information given here is useful, but without applying structure and a template in which you can incorporate and in turn incept these habits into your life you will find little to no change or success.

Take it slow. Be patient. Be consistent. Mastery is acquired after the toiling and hard work. Structure your habits and you will succeed.

Edit: And one last thing be EXTREME. Cut off as much masturbatory activity as possible. Cut out music, cut out drugs, cut out the internet if you must. Corner yourself into doing the right thing, build the habits of a Red Pill Man. Be radical, cut out all the bullshit.

Even here you should filter out the things that are wasting your time. If you've already internalized a concept on TRP, or it's a topic that isn't actually helping you in any way, ignore it. There are truths which even if you become aware of you wont actually be awakened to until the required experience presents itself. So don't waste time on things that wont aid you in your journey.

I've still got lots to improve but I know I can achieve it.

Positives:

Bought a house!
Set a solid 60%/40% relationship with my LTR. We are both happier for it.
Added a lot of muscle to my frame.
Expanded my wardrobe to include things worth wearing.
I've met a genuine Red Pill guy and after broaching the subject carefully he is going to help get my negatives down.

Reading more books.

Negatives:

Still find approaches hard, and having an LTR means if/when I practice, I can only let it go to a point before I have to eject.
Upper body gains have been slow and hard fought. My left wrist occasionally decides it can't support weight without extreme pain, pretty much killing all push chest and arm exercises.
Finally over 6 figures/yr salary, stock grants on top of that.
Still having issues viewing myself as others view me, making seduction, persuasion, and making friends somewhat more difficult then it should be.

I've completely cut out carbohydrates (for the most part) and trying to adjust to a paleo-ish diet. Probably dropped a few pounds in the past two weeks. Trying to go from 18 to 10-12 percent body fat. Also riding 45 miles a week to work on my bike and doing cardio. I quit smoking and limited my drinking to a few a week (you get drunk off one drink on this I swear). I'm hellbent on those abs. I know looks don't play nearly as much into female to male attraction, but I find that once I accomplish my goals with my body, my confidence will skyrocket.

+no more mr nice guy (learned to value myself, learned to say no, learn to stand for myself,...), going to gym for 3 months now, going to dance course, more outgoing, had a hookup using TRP knowledge, learned how to talk with girls, got more self-confidence, started to look out of my dressing style, started to face my stutter (actively looking for possible solutions). Third improvement. New wardrobe. This shit don't fit no more.

I've burned through a couple of old relationships with people I've known for years-this might actually be a positive, but it's still annoying to lose that base. The impending move eases this discomfort somewhat, though.

Cons - Social anxiety. i am on the autism spectrum so making conversation was always hard for me. i was always awkward as a kid and too shy to even talk to women. i never had much of a male guide. father committed suicide when i was 12. i had 2 brothers but it wasnt easy to pickup their advice as things were easier said than done. they didnt get my social fear.

i need a gym membership as well as a diet but im broke. and that revolves around to filling out job applications.

im not great with pulling good conversation out of my ass. i dont know what to say or talk about. i feel like a jackass most of the time. i believe in myself but im stumped.

my sleep schedule is fucked up. i pull all nighters and sleep during the day.

too much time i spend on the computer and playing video games. i remain too stagnant and i want to change these things myself. but i feel like a mammoth in tar.

i feel like i have no friends. no real close friends anymore. most left after depression/high school. so im stuck floating in my head. and i have no one to talk with most of the time.

fell asleep next to a cup of soda. woke up to my phone submerged in that cup.

Kept on the diet, lost 20 lbs. Started gaining weight again but that was coming from doing 5x5.
Ex went crazy after a mushroom trip and started fucking everything that moved. Cut her out as well as some other women I was friends with and realized they were using me just as much as she was.
Started therapy to deal with some of my anxieties and low self worth. It's a mindfulness based therapy(ACT) and correlates well to my already pretty firm meditative practice. I dig it.
Started a krav maga class. I had watched youtube vid in November that had CCTV footage of a stabbing. Freaked me the hell out realized how vulnerable I was. I feel a lot better now.
Quit smoking pot. This was pretty easy when your ex starts banging your dealer.

Negatives

Still have the job and I hate and don't really feel on my path. On the flipside at least i know what I want to do.
Living in the ex's moms basement. I know, not good. We had done it so we could save for travelling. Of course, she never saved a dime. Anyway, I need to get the fuck outta here before I even think about dating again.

Social anxiety. This has been something that reared its ugly head in the last few years. Always looked at people with anxiety or depression as weak people, but suffering from extreme sweating in public situations is something I haven't been able to fix. Grew up VERY blue pill, and with a lot insecurities about myself and my interaction with women, however, I thought I overcome that in the last few years when I genuinely gained confidence and dated multiple women.

Wanna get rid of it? Get rid of all the other negatives in your life...

Video games

Being inconsistent in the gym

Not picking up fighting or MMA

And mainly...porn addiction.

If you erase all this negatives the social anxiety will vanish.

Just to see that negatives create more negatives.

ex:

A lot of web surfing = inertia for porn abuse (thus creating social anxiety)

Wasting time with video games and tv/web = inertia for laziness (thus creating inconsistency in the gym and a lack of motivation to learn a martial art)

Tomorrow I'm moving house. I'm finally leaving the people that make me unhappy. I will no longer feel unwelcome in my own home. I have askTRP to thank for that decision, endless gratitude to the guys helping others out over there.

Improved myself by lifting and eating much better. I can see through all the bullshit that all women are like. TRP gave me tons of confidence to do me and not act like a fool around other people. I truly appreciate what this sub has made me become.

The only problem I have is having no balls to approach women during the day time. I do not why I just can't walk up to them and start up a conversation.

After four months of TRP reading--

Pros:

I went on a date the other day and had fun. I wasn't nervous going into it--it was with a girl I knew but hadn't seen in a while. Worth a second date ask, which I did. But also still talking to other women on the side as I come out of monk mode.

-Have been taking my training more seriously and have consistently been breaking PRs in the gym as of late. My diet leaves a bit to be desired, but I'm cleaning that up too. I've been cleaning up my facial hygiene (more frequent haircuts, shaves) as well as my posture and demeanor (i.e. everything we learn about voice and movement as a man, here). There have been noticeable returns on investment here.

-Job performance has been much better and I'm trying to put myself in situations to get ahead of my peers.

-I have been much better about budgeting and sticking with that budget. My spending is way, way down and I am paying down credit debt in large chunks. I'm about to hit a stretch where I will be able to save larger amounts and pay down more debt, which I am really looking forward to.

Cons:

-I still have a huge porn problem. I've been "medicating" by being out and doing things but once a day I get the shakes, basically. But then I'll be good for the rest of the day. Or vice versa, i'll be solid in the morning but before bed have a hankering.

-as mentioned, my diet could be better and it's hampering gains and my physique, and I need to fix it.

-I'm still talking to other women, but I haven't asked them out, so I'm not really the winner here.

So I would say about 50/50, I'm doing alright.

27, started TRP in February after a dying 3 year LTR exploded with her cheating on me with some guy from Australia. He paid to come see her, I held on and was a bitch. They had been communicating for six months after a summer trip they met in Europe on.

January - Sucked balls. Depressed. Couldn't think of a way out.

February - Bought a GoPro and decided my life needed more adventure. Started filming hiking at state parks, going on more trips, and exploring. Also joined Reddit and found TRP.

March - Prepared to dive deep into my current calling in life - cars. Got numbers for my car, modified it more, took it to the track more. Met more people, go more involved, started filming it too.

April - Started lifting heavier and eating better. In May/June, even upped this more. Reconfigured my home gym and made a chart to increase weight over the next 12 or so weeks. Started making pre-made food tupperwares for work. Also started going out everyday at lunch hour to the local college for approaching experience. After 2-3 weeks, I was getting in 5 approaches a day, 1 or so resulting in a number. No real 'dates' or follow ups.

May - Started online dating and made a 'badass' TRP style profile. Started messaging short, fun, repetitive story-line copy and paste messages. Played around, got numbers, met up with a few and even went back to this very attractive girl's place after going out all night drinking, exploring our city, and being awesome. First time since the breakup I pulled back to a girl's place. She's since sent 'bra' pictures holding a beer, and other clothed, but provocative pictures. Also, was out at a happy hour for my buddy who was leaving work. Felt really good interacting with everyone. Chatted up some girl there, thinking her boyfriend was there too. Turns out, the guy wasn't her boyfriend. She was however engaged and had a kid. Didn't matter. Still escalated and drug her around to different parts of the bar and out to some loft area. Held hands, touch each other... eye opening TRP experience. Then she had to leave as she was with another group. Didn't get a number, but didn't really care to.

June - We're only 8 days in, but since school is out at the local college, I've started approaching on the streets here in our big city. Anxiety was there at first, but after 2-3 days, I got much better and the practice from the college kicked in. Recently just met a another solid girl via cold approach - first time ever I actually had fun doing it. Likes hiking, state parks, some things I actually enjoy. Hope to meet up again this week. Also have another girl sitting in the wing for a meetup who works at our local hospital as a nurse.

Currently I plan on to keep going out each day. 5 approaches a day. Continue with the lifting and eating more (skinny guy). And continue filming and working on my Youtube Channel. I've gotten a ton of feedback and have gotten much better after a few months. People now ask me all the time at car meets and events about the next videos or to film their cars. I really really enjoy it and love having a certain persona around it.

Six months ago, that girl was the center of my life. We were together every weekend and my real life purpose died. I stopped going to car stuff, stopped hanging out with my guy friends, and stopped meeting new people. I stopped adventuring and trying new things. I've really turned it around.

I also completely cut out porn. It makes you lethargic and really screws with how to create intent and relate to women. I've noticed increases leaps and bounds above what I thought was possible in short amounts of time after cutting it. My focus is on cars, meeting new people, lifting, and my career. I now have a passion for going out and meeting women along side my major callings.

I really have to keep a keen eye on not getting too attached to one girl after having success....... this will be my downfall and always has been. I'm aware now.

Positive

lifting consistently, added 10 more pounds for a total of 15 pounds in 8 months. And my diet is perfect now.
addictions: got finally rid of weed and tabacco. Very little alcohol.
sports : increased frequency, now 6 times a week
job : much more efficient since I quit weed. Doing tests for starting a business on the side
social : reconnected with old friends, gone to a few parties. Manageable social anxiety now (used to be awful because weed)

To be done

social : keep improving, more exposure, and meditation seems to help
game : get back in the game, dry spell about to end but that's not enough. I need to start approaching
addictions : my last one is the internet, I was wasting hours on reddit and other shit. Much better since last week, I need to keep going.
wardrobe : mine is shitty now, but I need 10 more pounds before buying stuff.

Overall a huge improvement since last october when I started to clean the mess that my life had become. Discovering TRP in january has been a major step, I learned/read everything. I need to apply it now.

made a lot of progress with women in general, a lot of girls are attracted to me, i've been on a lot of dates and i've started to adopt an abundance mentality without actually having abundance
working towards beating approach anxiety. each day that goes I approach more and more and slowly bit by bit the anxiety crumbles, though it still persists for now..

no lays in 2015 so far, and 0 plates since swallowing the pill

34 m. Learning to hold eye contact. Working on IDGAF and being stoic under pressure. Have made some progress. Dressing better. Often in a suit now. Lost 25 lbls. Need to loose 25 more. Working out and benching 160lbls for 15reps; up from 120 when I started 2 months ago. Goal is 275lbl. Trying to learn to read women - have a long way to go but slowly learning to recoginze a few things. Internalizing the abundance mentality. Persuing a few projects that could financially boost me. Confidence and self-respect are up. Sex with the wife is better. She is enjoying the newfound muscles and stamina.

The bad. Wow this list is long. My going out with work mates pissed off the wife and I didn't hold frame properly. Have a lot of work to fix that shit. That said, Holding frame has been very difficult; Im struggling with the difference between being loving with her and holding frame. Going out was a drain on the finances. Have to find another way to accomplish meeting people. I want to try bouncing but the wife does NOT like the idea :( so maybe I can try uber? Still agressive which makes stoicism hard to accomplish. Have a hard time finding alone time to work on me. I havent been as regular with my workouts as I should be. I do get in once a week and have lengthened the workout since its only once a week, but I want to make it 3 times a week. My keto diet bit the dust for the last month. MUST get back to it! Need to find a new job/tweak this one where Im not expected to work evenings without additional pay so I have more time to devote to me or at least make more.

Shifting music preferences: I've come to enjoy hip hop more. My previously-beloved 90s-Alternative Pandora station is suddenly a nest of beta triggers. And I had to put my dishwasher on notice that the next time I hear Linkin Park or Evanescence or Vertical Horizon during a dinner rush, I'm dropping his fucking phone in the deep fryer.
My new year's resolution was to see how much beard I could grow in one year. Overall my SMV has taken a hit but the girls who do like it, REALLY like it. I occasionally see this one girl at the bar (she usually has at least one or two orbiters in tow) who can't keep her hands out of it when she sees me. I enjoy her attention almost as much as I enjoy AMOGing her orbiters by reminding her (in front of them) that we've scheduled a "date" to braid/cornrow it once it grows out some more.

Avoid listening to sad bullshit music by playing trap mixes. Makes you feel like a drug lord instead of some Ryan Adams esque little bitch in scarcity.

I'm gearing up for something big, though. I'm moving out (the people I'm with are toxic and pro feminism, a serious violation of personal boundaries), gonna get some room mates in the downtown area where I'll be working full-time as a security guard (12.00 an hour to walk around graveyard hours so little mental energy expended to focus on the bigger picture). Then I'll spend 4-7 hours after that learning entrepreneurialism.

In terms of dating, I've just gotten back into it and macked on Starbucks employee's and the responses were positive. One even approached me. Get eyefucked in the computer lab by cute foreign chicks a lot, but never made a move on them (quiet environments are stifling so that's a wall I'd like to break through). Latina ran into me downtown at night and I had a Chad thundercock moment but don't ask because I don't know what came over me (hashtag beastmode). This is where I'm gearing up to make my biggest change.

In terms of fitness, I won't lie to you. I quit for like 3 months, but I'm getting back into it. I'll need the testosterone boost and mental clarity to compete in the sport of business.

I hope everyone else is killing it or gearing up for it, because we aren't meant for normal shit lives. Real men push the limits of human endurance. I love you all.
