Not to be dark or anything, but lets be realistic. There is going to be no "dating" directly after a nuclear war. Mass numbers are gonna be wiped out and civilization is gonna go into survival mode meaning theres going to be a lot of rape, and incest. There is no "I just feel like we connect" theres "you look like you can bare children, come here".

Fun fact: after a nuclear war we will go into a nuclear winter caused by a thick layer of dust which will remain far above the clouds (tropo/stratosphere) for many years, blocking a significant amount of sunlight, comparable to the meteor that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs.

This will result in below ice age temperatures for several years and billions of people all around the world will die from starvation rather than the nukes themselves.

If you are killed directly on impact by a nuke, you are one of the lucky ones.
