I mean there’s so many ways to go about it. You could call and set up a date, but what if she’s busy and couldn’t answer? More than likely, she’s not going to call you back, and you’d have to try another time. It’s 2022, text is the new call. Imo be aggressive and take a chance. If you have the funds, text her now and say, “Would love to continue our conversation at Target. I’m heading to ‘pick a restaurant’ for dinner. Come meet me.” If she says yes, then you have an impromptu meet up right then and there. If she says she’s busy, you just broke the ice, and can set up a date over text by saying something along the lines of, “aww bummer, how about next Friday?” Then just follow the general texting rules.

Focus on urself slim. U bouta be playing a whole bunch of stupid games and win stupid prizes. Focus on a hobby/career path and talk to girls through that medium and go from there.

Cuz what about to happen is you about to rack your brain on what to say to this girl for 2 weeks and then be left wondering how you could do better next time and do that over and over a couple hundred times till you finally get sex and then you're gonna realize it wasn't worth it.

Do you recall anything interesting from your Convo with her? Did she tell you where she was from? What she likes to do? What she does for a living? If so try and recall something from that Convo and bring it into the text.

E.g. you live in California and she's just moved from Texas. So you say

"hey XYZ, it's ABC from Target, so what brings you from Texas to California"

If there was no chance to build strong rapport then I think what you normally say is fine except maybe not put the "lmao" (this can come across as unserious but then again it depends if y'all had a funny conversation or a more stern one getting to know you conversation). Something on the lines of

"hey XYZ, it's abc from target, how's your day going?"

Doesn't really matter when you text her but if you're going to do it today I'd wait a couple of hours. I usually text girls the next day if I meet them in person.

I see younger dudes adding "lmao" to the ends of sentences that are not even remotely funny, and I think it's a way to mask social anxiety. People want to believe that it shows you're fun-loving and carefree, like, "Lmao, can you believe how ridiculous the whole dating song and dance is? It's totally lame, and I'm totally beyond it!" But I think the message it actually sends is "I'm afraid you might laugh at me, but you can't laugh at me if I'm already laughing at myself."

Always lead up to something that can be in person. Always know one thing she likes to do in person and set that up as a date/get together. Even a barbecue with friends at a beach would suffice. Cardinal rule is texting is for setting up dates. Before you set up a date however you need to establish rapport and comfort. Did you do that in Target when you were spitting game irl before grabbing her number? If so, did you have any memorable moments in the conversation?

If possible, think back to the conversation in person and text something witty that dovetails off of it. Otherwise, if there was nothing memorable to refer to (which probably means the interaction sucked) you can always just text her name with an exclamation point and saying "quick question" or "gotta ask you something..". I usually send something cheeky back like 'how did you get so cute?'. Guage how she responds.. Is there a lot of energy and interest or is she a dead fish sending back a sole question mark.. "?".. You need her to be engaged and talkative otherwise it will be an uphill battle at best.

So to recap, you want the first text to elicit a response by either having something witty tied to a positive memory (if possible) or at least pose the text as a question. Once you get a response, now the ball is rolling and you can do some text game for a few messages before hook line and sinker for a date. This is the formula my friend.
