Yes and No. There is a lot of diversity here but all of people stick with their own race. For example, I've dated Asian girls for short times because their family would prefer another Asian. There's also this weird thing going on we're every girl here believes there a 10.

For a kiwi, yeah it might be the best. I normally recommend that if people are going to travel they should try somewhere where they are not the majority race or height, etc. If you can really stand out from the norm (like a Hispanic person going to Germany, or a tall white guy in Korea) then you'll usually do way above average. But having known a couple kiwi guys, your accent alone is going to kill it over here. Just be in decent shape and not broke.

America is hit or miss depending on where you go because in addition to diverse population it is also diverse geographically because it is fuckhuge. This means there are urban centers, some of which are better places to be than others, and also massive expanses of absolutely nothing. I live in the latter setting, far away from any major city, and the dating pool is just as deserted as the land. I can't give you a perspective on what dating is actually like in American cities, but the fact that we have so much more population and more than one city is probably an advantage.

This having been said, Americans are rude and cold to each other unless you have something to offer them. Chatting up random strangers is a no no, you'll be seen as suspicious. I don't know if anywhere else is like this, but if you have any trouble talking to ladies in NZ, it's 10 times worse in the USA.

If population and cities are your priority, all of Southeast Asia is way closer to NZ than the USA is.

Fellow kiwi here. I live in Australia now and as an Islander getting dates is easy (I don’t need them since I’m happily taken) but that maybe because I’m polynesian and “diffeeent”.

There is truth that if you go somewhere you might get a little more dates BUT at the end of the day you can always get dates no matter where you are if you improve yourself. Dating was easy in New Zealand too, you can’t blame small population. The shit thing about the small population in nz just meant it was easier for people to hear about your business, but in either case if you’re ugly and unattractive in NZ you will be ugly and unattractive in NYC too. You still need to work on yourself.

Not necessarily, Americans are unique in every single thing they do and dating comes with a lot of baggage here. For a foreigner who mostly dated foreign women too, it is way more straightforward and less complicated than courting American women. Before I moved to the US I have never heard of terms like alpha and beta male, the 1-10 scale, the 6-6-6 requirements, Chad, Stacey, incel community, dating many people at the same time, ghosting, out of your league, nice guys finish last,.....etc

Not making a generalized statement but a large population of men and women randomly assign random numbers from a scale to 1-10 to both genders depends on your level of attraction, and if you are 6 male and interested in a 10 female, you have no chance with her, I am mesmerized by this weirdnesses

Both genders can be shallow and entitled, some men are going after good looking women only and the opposite is true. It seems as the qualities of being smart, funny, interesting, accomplished, sophisticated, adventurous, knowledgeable, chivalrous...etc have been overlooked. People are increasingly becoming very opinionated and if you aren't checking the laundry list of someone they won't date you...

Dating before moving to the US was much, much easier and dating other foreigners is way less complicated
