You're making the mistake many guys make - that women have the same principles of attraction that men do. For men, 90% of what attracts them to a woman is a woman's looks. But for women, A man's looks may get their attention initially but it definitely will not hold it. A man's looks is merely a foot in the door and nothing else. I do wonder where OP has gotten this hypothesis from.

If you take a scientific approach, what tests have you done that gave evidence to your hypothesis of "90% of the time it's about looks".

I'm not being pedantic or anything but if you think about your statement, it doesn't even make sense.

There is literally so much data that shows this hypothesis is false that it's absurd.

Whoever thinks that this is true either have not gone and done the research and studied Game and pickup or is just here trolling.

The only other option is that the OP is like 14 years old.

Even if you just walk around a shopping mall and look at the dude's walking around with their wife (and possibly kids), you'll realise that at least 50% of them are ugly as fuck. The other 40% is probably average looking with about 10% being Bradley Cooper and Chris Hemsworth.

Edit: Oh and don't even use money or status as an excuse either. That probably contributes less to attraction than looks.

There are people who will never get over the looks thing and that is why they will always be losers. Sorry, but if you're going to use something false like looks as an excuse, you have little chance of winning and getting the girl. Less competition for the rest of us I guess.

No guy with good game will blame his lack of success on looks. Attraction is 90% behavior related. Cave women weren't looking across the cave and saying, wow that guy is really good looking, that has high value for me and my future kids in this dangerous world, I better hook up with him.

Looks has almost no survival or replication value which is where attraction comes from. Men can father children at an old age, its not an issue to be young like it is for women. Looks represents youth and health, but not safety which is where most female attraction comes from. It was social behavior they were attracted to. Who has the best potential alliances to keep me and the kids safe? That's what they cared about. It's in the DNA. Looks play a role. But, a fairly small one.

Looks will generate attraction more easily, and when a girl is already attracted to you, this will helps a ton, even if you miss out a bit on your conversation or other social skills, she will tolerate it easily since the attraction its already there.

If you don't have the looks, you need to generate attraction through other ways, like good conversation, showing that you are an interesting person, etc (you all know the points I'm talking about). The problem here, is if you are not good looking, she won't give you much of a chance in case you mess up something while "presenting" yourself to her, even if it's something small, she may turn you down. That's the reality.
