Man, you guys are defeatists lol. Don't overthink it. The fact that she even responded is a good sign, and you can work with that. She only spoke to you for five minutes. Don't just jump to asking for the date in your first text if you don't actually know the girl. Build some comfort first then ask. She's giving you that opportunity. What did she actually say?

And future tip; If she's hot she has at least 5 guys she's texting, and most of the time she may ignore them if she isn't looking for orbiters. Voice messages are a game changer. She actually has to open them and engage them, rather than glancing for half a second.

How old are you? Next time make the two subjects separate texts and wait for her to respond to one before asking the other.

She might not be interested in your suggestion. For a first date a walk alone is kinda lame, you should do dinner and a walk. I'm gonna be honest, if a guy asked me on a walk for our first date I wouldn't answer or I'd say I wasn't interested. Put some effort in. Also instead of asking try saying something like "I'd like to take you out to dinner on x day. Are you free around 7pm?"

That makes things very clear. A lot better than a vague "are you free the next few days." Especially "are you free the next few days for a walk?" A walk where? In a nice park or garden? That's a more acceptable first date but maybe pack food for a picnic. A hike is good too, but not the 1st date. Being in a secluded place with a strange man isn't safe. But just asking for a walk in general? I think most women would be turned off.

To clarify, for online dating a first date and a first meet are two separate things in my mind. I'll meet him for a coffee if we've only spoken online and on FaceTime but after that it has to be a real date. But you've already met her. Plan a real date.

I disagree with the guys telling you to forget her and that she isn't interested. Wait a day or two then plan a date, set the date 5 or more days away and send a text that ONLY asks her on the date. Don't send a "hi" text before, no small talk just short and to the point

"I'd love to take you to dinner at x restaurant. Are you free to meet me there at 7?

It sounds confident and avoids the situation you're in.

She just met you. You asked her to go on a walk with a literal stranger. You could be a serial killer who will hack her head off. But she didn’t say no. Some people prefer more traditional first dates. Besides at this point she doesn’t know f she wants to go out with you or not. If you want to get all in your feelings, that’s okay. But consider that your approach may just not have been appealing and she may responded better to a different approach Like tell her something you liked about her and ask if she would like to go on a date sometime. I don’t agree with suggestions that you tell a stranger where and when then ask them if they would like to join. The person may be busy at said time. You show respect for the other human by asking if they would like to spend time with you. Not planning a date in your head and boxing the other person into it.

I'm not sure how old you are but let me tell you the very fact that you are even asking this question means you lack basic social skills. To anyone this would be obvious that you move on.

From now on you be sure to take any omissions or people ignoring you as a "no" or a " i don't want to associate with you". That is what that means.

I suggest you try a close friend and really open up tk them about the problems you having that may be similar. The truth is we cant help you here as much as you need your going to need a real friend that will hell you socialize and get the social skills as everyone does by going out there and socializing.

I hate it when guys are reluctant to ask me out for a certain time, place etc. If we've been texting or talking, just say are you free tomorrow or whatever day at whatever time. Would you like to have a drink or coffee? If she says she isn't available then, say "when are you free?' I pretty much stop responding if he doesn't ask me out, because I think he isn't actually interested or he is too busy with work, has a girlfriend, etc. If she says no, or doesn't answer, she isn't interested.

You don't need to next her straight away like some others are saying. If she's still replying she's still somewhat interested.

Mixing in wishywashy stuff to hide the question is self defeating. Be clear, and suggest a time/place. Only if she is unavailable would you then ask what works for her. It's annoying if you're someone who doesn't like to make decisions but you just got to suck it up and take the lead.

You can ask her again and make it so she can't dodge the question. If she rejects you then no big deal, at least now you know.

Instead of asking, find out when she is free then tell her you'll pick her up then or to meet you somewhere then. Meaning get to know her. Ask her what her work hours are, when she gets off at, and who she hangs out with. Once you know things like this about her you will know her schedule enough to make your dates convenient for both of you.

She wants you to do the leg work because that's the only way she will justify your first date to be a love story.

I read somewhere before in Chase Amante's Girls Chase that girls do not do actions without deliberation. So 100% she saw it and chose not to respond because she is probably on the fence about hanging out with you. If I were you and were still interested, I would talk to her more and get her to cozy up to me a bit more before asking to spend time with her. If you're not that interested, don't force it and just move on.

I think not everyone opens up so fast so easy. Some people prefer meeting in person. But some could also be shy, and prefer getting to know a bit about you first.
