Of course women do need protection, everyone does. But today I’m talking about something I’ve noticed.

With many issues, such as racism, transphobia, Islamophobia, etc, a lot of it is based around victimising women.

When talking about black people, racists generally will speak about black men and say “they’re out to get our poor precious women!!” As a way to justify their racism. Same with transphobia. Transphobic mostly are transphobic towards trans women (I say this as a trans man). That’s because they can’t use AFABs to demonise and use for fear mongering but they can use people they see as males for that.

To them, trans women are just predatory men who are out to hurt, rape and prey on women and “erase womanhood”.

This can be seen in many issues. It’s obvious misandry when you look at it.

There is one exception I think…. Homophobia. Homophobia is mostly against gay/bisexual men and because they wouldn’t prey on women and we all know men can’t be victims /s, they use children. “Gays are indoctrinating our kids!! Drag queens are grooming out children!!”

Most of this comes from the demonisation of male sexuality. They use the male sex as a weapon in their homophobia, racism, etc because they know that people are more accepting towards misandry and believing that women need to always be protected from anyone perceived as male.

People who care about men should be against this stuff. Yet I see many “men’s rights advocates” being transphobic of homophobic saying they miss when men were real men (aka when men were forced to die in war and sacrifice themselves in order to have self worth).

We need to call out misandry openly and loudly. We can’t let people get away with it.
