Think about it: a short girl with thick thighs and big baby eyes will be considered attractive, but her brother who will look similar will be considered "meh" or unattractive.

She is average, he is invisible.

The second woman might be wearing contacts, and I bet she is reaching her 30s if not allready there, asians are tricky in that sense.

But IMO, a skinny woman is desirable by most men (and being skinny while being young is not hard at all), a skinny man is not desirable by most women.

The thing is than we are evaluated by different standards, in their 20s a man has to show potential he will get somewhere in life to get a partner, in his 30s he has to show results.

Meanwhile women have to be physically atractive and agreable (mainly), if they lack one of those two they will most likely end in the "pump and dump" zone, if they lack both they will be as invisible as the guy in the picture.

It’s not unpopular, nor is it a breakthrough discovery, OP: male threshold is harder to meet, but men have other thresholds that can make up for being unattractive. On top of it, on this sub we get reminded on a daily basis that we stop being attractive at 25/30/35 no matter what we do, so what’s the problem.

This is only true if you also use your male eyes as well to determine men's attractiveness. Women will disagree as women all have different tastes, and they will be downvoted/ignored by the majority of men here making more shit up about what women think. Once again men are running their whole worldview based on how a small percentage of highly attractive women behave on dating apps. I find the man on the right who you say is feminine/ugly to be good looking. I would say yes to a date with him, he has a symmetrical face and is not balding, he is attractive.

At this point it literally feels pointless to beat this dead horse. Everytime I try to share my perspective about this topic I am called a liar. Why is this such a persistent assumption on this sub? I am a woman with two brothers. My brothers don't have my thick thighs and curvy hips and sloped shoulders and feminine face ratios because they're not women, they're men and have male bone structure.

Aesthetics and personality trump genetics for the majority of guys.

Women have an easier time being attractive enough to be directly approached by a potential partner (which is what guys here would say if they were being honest), but that threshold doesn't apply to the other aspects of a relationship.
