I am seeing a lot of “women go for high value men and average men need to wait for subpar women.” Maybe it’s because the last time I started dating someone was when I was 22 and I ended up marrying him, but that seems wrong, right? Neither of us were accomplished. We just liked each other based on intelligence, personality, and a good sense of humor. I didn’t go for him because he was a high value man at 25. He was shy and self effacing. Yes, he’s tall, but we were trying to figure out who we are as people. So if he is successful now, does that somehow mean I picked him because he’s high value? I also need to mention that I don’t know any single mothers, at least where we are. I don’t entirely understand the complaint since I’ve only ever seen people like each other based on personality and not superficial factors like appearance and money.
